Gwalior Engineering College

Remarks :

I chose this college because of IT labs, faculty over there(mostly Ph.D. holders). Of course the other things like extracurricular activity over there. And College has NCC, if you experience Army with your graduation degree then it better. These are the reason I attend this college for my bachelor's.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I always wanted to be a software developer. So, when I ask about this college from seniors and ask about placement, they told me the placement record is very good. Around 90 students present in the CSE department. As I already mentioned the most teachers done Ph.D. so the quality of their teaching is very exceptional.

Internships Opportunities :

I have done internships with techie shubhdeep it solution Gwalior(an IT company) in our college. We have do intern in C, C++ and made some small projects. The duration of the internship is around 45 days.

Placement Experience :

Around the 7th semester, the placement started every year. There are many alumni already working in HCL, Accenture, TCS... Around more than 60% of students get placed on the basis of their knowledge.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is very good while looking at what you get from the college. After spending 3 years in GEC, I can say whatever you pay ver here is very worthful. The fee structure is 55,000 per year. There are many scholarships available that you can opt. If you have sports experience then you can take admission on the basis of sports quota.

Campus Life :

If I talk about extracurricular activities then there are plenty of opportunities available to update yourself. Abhikalpan the techfest is annually in the month of April(most probably) organized by the college students. Around more than 15,00 books, journals present in the library. Students can get the most out of it from there.

Admission :

There is no admission criteria except the minimum percentages of High school and Intermediate

Interview Experience :

It is not compulsory for interviews. they just ask about yourself(mostly introduction). Actually, College faculties are very supportive so students can cover in ahead years.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good for only CSE with an average package of around 5 LPA. Companies like Infosys, cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Amazon, Capgemini, and tech Mahindra come for campus recruitment. No core companies visit here. If you are going for a core job you have to apply off-campus or prepare for the GATE exam.
