Remarks :

Great place to be for a biology student looking for a career in research.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is defined by Delhi University and recently they have started entrepreneurship which is a very industry friendly curriculum. There is enough focus on recent breakthroughs like biotechnology and medical Microbiology and industrial Microbiology.

Class Size : 20Course Fees : INR 30000 per year

Placement Experience :

The institute has a entrepreneurship cell and invites alumni to provide guest lectures. Most students opt for higher studirs abroad using GATE.

College Events :

Microbiologika is the annual quiz fest for inter college activity. This is open for micro students only. Besides there is sports day and inter department competitions. Annual college fest happens around feb and is in a grand scale where all departments participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structures is reasonable as its guided by ministry and Delhi university. There are practicals and theory classes and for excursion trip there is a contribution taken from volunteer students who can then go to various Microbiology research institutes.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

None. Fees are affordable as its guided by DU. The college is itself run by university of Delhi and ministry of HRD.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio is 1:1 and college promotes a lot of co curriculum activities like quizing and painting are promoted. There is a debating club and then there is a sporting and political club for grooming young leaders who want to display their leadership skills.

Hostel Facilities :

No hostel in campus. However private hostels and accomodation are available on Benito Juarez marg and they are affordable. These are advertised within the campus and not difficult to get. Delhi University hostel itself is in north campus.

Alumni/Alumna :

Its not very well developed but alumni themselves are very close to each other through facebook groups.

Admission :

Apply in the college with your XII marksheets. The college make a merit list and often mostly >95% on PCB Marks.Then the college will declare cut of lists thoughout may and june. The final cutoff is 1 july and then classes start soon after from mid july.

Faculty :

There are approx 20 subjects over three years and most of the lecturers specialise in one or another topic.For example the Principal has international teaching and reearch experience in USA and other subject teachers are also experts in their fields.

Remarks:

Good coding environment, near metro station, placement is average 5-6lpa Total fee is 70000 which is affordable for me. This main campus for GGSIPU. All fest and event are happen in main campus. Library is double floor and air conditioned. Lab for all required subject like software, microprocessor, electronic.

Placement Experience:

Avg placement is 5-6 lpa. Company like Infosys, Accenture, Paytm nagrro, TCS (mass recruiter) etc. there is placement department which manager placement activity. Highest package offer in 2019 is 28 lpa at Amazon AWS. Alumni job referral is quite low. Because no of students in Engineering passed every year is 240-300 only
