Remarks :

As I mentioned earlier, the college has good faculty members and extracurricular outreach but not well maintained when it comes to hostel facilities and proper equipments in laboratory.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is highly repevant with proper number of interesting subjects & practicals offered. College follows Mumbai University exam pattern. The curriculum is groomed to provide industrial knowledge but no theoretical knowledge can be properly understood if not actually performed. Therefore internships are highly recommended for this course. College even offers various intermediate course in several topic of interest.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 59 per year

Placement Experience :

Several banks & Infosys visited for campus recruitment. There are various internships for this program but one need to keep looking for it, college faculties can suggest you for the same but college do not offer any internship as such.

College Events :

Taarangan is the biggest event celebrated in my college.Along with it there are several other interdepartmental & intercollege events like TRISHNA, CORTOKINO, MOCK-STOCK, SCI-CLICK, ADD-MAD, etc.Our student council actively organizes varoius days and festive weekends.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee for Biotechnology course is 29.5k each semester. It is moderate with good faculty members and facilities but it is bit expensive for sone students. Additionally as my course offers practical sessions, there is breakage fee & common examination fees. Netbanking/ NEFT/ DD are the mode of payment.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college do not offer any scholarship programs not for my course atleast. The 1st three ranker's of every course present in this college are awarded with cash and trophy.

Campus Life :

Capus life/ college life is a life which everyone should experience. It molds a person into a better version of self / leads to a distracted path, the choice of selection is truely upon that particular student. The memories that we collect, the life taht we live, the friends that we make, the carrier that we choose, everything is worth experiencing.

Hostel Facilities :

No, I haven't opted for college but can give a review of it as few of my batchmates have opted for hostel. This college provide hostel for students but the rooms are average & not properly maintained. A lot of PG accomodation are available near this college.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Maintaining contacts with alumni is very important as they help you out with various course related difficulties. Suggestions from them is very important. Knowing their college life journey and what all difficulties they came across and now where they are headed, knowing all of this is important. College offer's alumni meet for that.

Admission :

Being a science student, biotechnology is emerging in India. I am more into research and findings & this course gives opportunity to move forward with it. Addmissions here are on merit base, afterwards you have to fill the addmission form provided by the college with few id proof attachments to it and your seat is secured.

Faculty :

Faculty members of this college are very supportive and highly qualified. They are always been supporting students to explore & excel in different fields along with the choosen course. From Vice principal, HOD to teachers everyone listen to students issue and try to simplify it.

WHY YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE ADMISSION IN YCCE?

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester the students are allowed to sit in placements The companies like TCs And capegeminis is common for mass recruitment and new companies like Accenture also visisted And total 200+ offers were made in placements Highest package this year was 21 lakhs in IT sector and the average package is 3-4 lakhs. Only 60% students get placed. I am going to do business after graduation as i dont trust college as it would give me placement

The internal exams are very important to give and also it is very difficult to pass in internals. In the exam, the supervisors are also 2 in each class and they are also very strict. No student can copy in this college. The faculties are also highly educated and their teaching method is also very good. The college has 2 computer labs also.

Remarks:

There is no place for sports to the college to have extra curricular activities. That's a drawback rest all is good and we have very good communication with faculty and HOD to share the details and any remarks.

For Admission – First Register on applyonline website of the University Fill up the form along with Rs.1000/- and reserve a time slot Upload the required documents and submit the form. Also upload the NATA score or JEE main score as it is mandatory for admission, and then appear for Interview. Once this process is over, then keep checking the merit list and if you are the lucky one then collect the Provisional Admission letter and pay the fees.

Placement Experience:

All programs include internships every year and students spend minimum two months between two years to gain industry experience and apply their skills which they have learnt during the previous semesters.
