Remarks :
Quite good management compared to other colleges in that area.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Yes curriculum is quite good as we follow JNTU, Kakinada syllabus throught 4 years but it didn't helped me much in my career because I choose to do Software job. Regarding campus placements I made my attempts to different companies but never got selected. I cracked elitmus test outside for getting multiple placements and got selected in Mindtree Ltd and I was happy in my career till now. Regarding industrial visits, yes we do have 2 visits in 3rd and 4th year but regarding gaining knowledge I don't think it is helpful much to me.
Placement Experience :
College mantain to get almost 10-15 companies and placed around 200 students from different groups but unfortunately I didn't got placed in any company during my college days.
College Events :
Cultural and technical events are good and helpful. I do participated in some and got rid of my stage fear and gained some technical knowledge. Robotics workshops are conducted and we learnt how to design our robot in that period. Vignan University is next to us and we used to participate in their technical events as well when time permits.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee Structure is feasible for me because I used to get stipend from government for 4 years. For Management quota, I think it varies according to the group they are choosing. For my group they used to collect around 120000 for 1 year as far as I remember.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I availed my scholarship via Fees Reimbursement Scheme of Andhra Pradesh and I didn't pay single rupee for college fee.
Campus Life :
No there are no gender ratios but Student/ Dorm parties were formed based on their caste and this is mostly for boys but didn't impact on anyone I guess. No politics/ethnicity/racism/sexual orientation throughout my graduation period and management is very strict on this part.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes i do opted for college hostel and after 1 year they closed it because of some loss. After that I stayed in pg for 3 years and it will take 60,000 on average for 1 year which means 5000 per month is enough to meet all financial needs.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes almuni network is maintained good and in final year we used to get support and feedback from seniors who got already placed and working.
Admission :
I have given my entrance test (EAMCET) which is common for whole state and after results Ingot a chance to apply for different colleges and groups. I tried applying for top colleges in my city and got selected for this college. Regarding groups I am interested in Electronics & Computers. I am eligible for both the groups and I choose Electronics over that.
Faculty :
Lectures are quite good and most of them are PhD's. Yes they do hold relevant industry experience but I think they failed to provide us much information on their industrial experiences rather than bookish knowledge. From my side I prefer to read all subjects text books rather than class notes and that's how I performed well in my exams.
