Remarks :
Banasthali Vidyapith is the largest fully residential women's university in the world. The best part is that the hostels are in the campus itself and most of the students live in hostels other than those who live in nearby areas. It is situated 40-50 km away from Jaipur city and thus is very peaceful and not at all polluted. If you are from a metropolitan city and miss seeing the stars at night due to pollution, this is the place for you.As the faculty members also live within the campus premises and therefore it looks like we are a whole big family, The education system is well organized and faculty members are very helpful when it comes to discussing questions and talking about applying for internships all over.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Well, our course syllabus updates almost every year focusing more on what's new in the market. Banasthali Vidyapith provides a good amount of practical exposure as we are required to work on industry-level projects in our last semesters. Dr. Yogesh Kumar Gupta is one of my favorite faculty members, his way of teaching is great and he is always ready to help out the student no matter how many times the student raises the query. The best part about him is that he values the opinions and ideas of all the students.
Placement Experience :
Top recruiting companies like Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, IBM, Accenture, TCS visit our campus for placement. Some companies also do mass recruitments and select more than 40 students at once. It actually depends on the company how many students it will take.
College Events :
Campus life is amazing. As most of the students live in hostels that is why we end up bonding with each other so well. There a number of fests that take place in Banasthali Vidyapith, infact all departments have their own fests. One of the biggest and the best fest that takes place is Mayukh which is also a National Technical Fest and students from other colleges can also participate in the events.
Campus Life :
In Banasthali Vidyapith we have a segment called 5- Fold Activities which includes a ton of extracurricular activities including Aviation, Swimming, Horse Riding, Tennis, Basketball etc. Aviation has always been a highlight of Banasthali Vidyapith as students get 5 hours of flying after they apply for the Student Pilot License(fees 12 k) and clear a Viva. This aviation course is actually open for the students of all the streams. Wi-fi services are provided in most of the hostels except the ones that are old now but once they will be renovated, they will become wi-fi compatible. Also the hostels that don't have wi-fi, each room has a P.C in it and students can use it by paying a nominal amount. There are libraries in almost every department which contains mostly specific books related to that department but other than that there is a Central Library where you can find books from all genres.
Hostel Facilities :
Well, you are definitely going to opt for the hostel as there is no option of PG near Banasthali. There are more than 50 hostels in Banasthali, including 4,3,2 and even single-seater. It depends on the course you have opted for and based on that you will be provided the hostel. The hostel fees include the Mess Charges, Electricity and Water, Room Rent and the Campus Fee
