Syllabus of the subject (being an autonomous college), faculty of the department, laboratories, co-curricular activities, infrastructure, specialised honours program which helps one to develop better knowledge and experience of a particular topic, location of the college in the city, transportation and distance between Guwahati and Mumbai.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course syllabus is well updated with assignments and projects related to the research field providing better exposure. The faculties of the life sciences and biochemistry department are very approachable and make us understand the concepts really well.

Placement Experience :

The college has an exceptional alumni list belonging to different fields. The college allows one to connect to seniors and have a better insight on future prospects related to their career. Students also get into Ivy league colleges and other foreign institutions.

College Events :

The overall environment of the college makes one to adjust in the college very easily, intercollege fests like Malhar Fest and Jan fest hosted by the college involve a huge number of participants and also have a captivating line-up. People like Arundhati Katju, Sir Mark Tully, Rajdeep Sardesai have made guest appearances in these fests.

Campus Life :

The college is 151 years old and is known to be a heritage site. All the practical laboratories are well equipped and there are two libraries which provides a wide range of books of diverse subjects. Classrooms are equipped with projectors to enable the teachers to teach through videos and presentations for better clarity of the subject.

Good infrastructure and facilities

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for the campus from the seventh semester. The companies visited in the core sector are Triveni Turbines, Manas Agro Industries, Bosch, Mecgale pneumatics, and Antony waste. The highest package was up to 4 LPA and the lowest was 2.2 LPA. 30% of students get placements during the Covid period. I got placed in a power plant and I m working there.

Remarks:

I leave in Kolhapur so, I heard about the college that it is best college in the Kolhapur. Also there are lot many of good facilities in the college. The college has good infrastructure and placement opportunities.

Placement Experience:

After 6 semesters the students are eligible for the campus. The lots of companies visit kit as it is a government autonomous college. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc also visit kit. The highest package of the college is 12lkh per annum by the Infosys. And the average package for the college is 4 lakh per annum. And the good sign of college is that they provide 85%placements to students. I have been gone through all this it's really helpful for me due to kit
