Remarks :

teaching staff are well qualified, an i am a student of government degree college trial. its infrastructure is also the best too. i don't see any reason for not going to such an institute , even the fees is extremely feasible.

Course Curriculum Overview :

the course is fun, interesting & a lot of theory . its scoring, easy to complete, diverse and indulge-worthy. the teachers are great, they help you a lot with notes, previous year question paper, oratory & writing skills too.

Placement Experience :

the placement wing is very active, always updated and sorted. i learnt great team values, attended many workshops & GDs too. i worked for an NGO and it looked really good in my CV. i did 5 paid internships.

College Events :

the college has a very big playground, considering i am a squash player. this college has a very big library too, where students usually organised its annual book festival. sports day and annual day are very important here.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

everything is quite subsidized. the college gives scholarships even though its fees is very less. its considerate of its fellow backward class students basically belonging from SC,ST,OBC, EWS community.

Campus Life :

the college is a government college, but we cannot underestimate it. the computer & IT labs are really good, its server is never down, so we never face a problem in getting our forms filled.canteen is having subsidy.

Admission :

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is based on the current module of educational and research programmes. The university intends on covering both practical and theoretical aspects of each field. Frequent periodical examinations with every semester exam occurring once in every six months. Faculty student ratio is also pretty decent of 1:12

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Yet they prefer to go out after the 8th semester. Big companies like Amazon, tata, etc., usually come to my college and give us a good package. I will be a very good engineer after getting the degree.

Placements often happen. Students either get placed or get better. Average package goes around 8 lpa and the placement cells play a major role. As for me, I have my plans set, I want to focus on govt exams.

Placement Experience:

Placements of NIT Srinagar depend on a branch to branch. The placements of CSE and IT branches are too good but if we talk about the placements of other core branches like mechanical, electrical, etc are not too good. But there are average. Like 17 students were placed out of 58 students in the mechanical branch. Companies visited were BYJUS, TATA, L&T, Angloeastern, etc. From the 7th semester, college placements get started. The highest package for the 2020 batch was 20 LPA and the average package was 8 LPA.
