Remarks :
I am grateful to this institute to provide me the perspective and drive that has led me to my research. The time spent here was memorable not only because of my wonderful friend circle, but also the teachers and their passion to their work which is very inspiring to this day.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is divided into several major and minor papers, one seminar for postgraduate students, laboratory training and field work. The exam is a mix of theory and practical papers. At the end of the course you also need to submit a dissertation.
Placement Experience :
The college does not have a dedicated focus on providing placements, and hence no career development cell. It does provide placement assistance, but most of us wanted to go into research.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee is somewhere between fifteen thousand (15,000) to twenty thousand (20,000) rupees; depending on the course and year of admission. It is affordable and justifiable. The university does not have autonomy over the fee structure.
Campus Life :
There are many on-campus and off-campus libraries, along with a data center, used mostly for research. There are seminars and workshops by different departments as well as the college and ICAR. Every division a laboratory used for research and practical classes.
Admission :
The admission is conducted by the MAUEB (Maharashtra Agriculture Universities Examination Board). You have to be in the merit list of MAUEB-CET and should have at least 5.5 CGPA. The admission is made on the basis of the CET merit list.
Faculty :
My course was trained by the faculty of M.Sc. Agriculture which is well-trained with excellent qualifications and experience. We were taught by a variety of teaching methods, conventional lectures, presentations, seminars, workshops, article reviews, interactive sessions and field visits.
