Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum for the Mphil is very rigorous and hectic. The first year has 3 papers of 100 marks each. The Research methodology, soft skill development in Anthropology, and other elective subjects are covered in the course.
Placement Experience :
PhD scholars receive a stipend of around 20,000 Rs per month. The Mphil program is heavily focused on research so internships are not really necessary. The professors are all really very helpful as they give out very useful advice.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure for the Mphil program is not very expensive. The course is really good and considering the facilities provided in the college itself, the fees is quite less at Rs. 14,050 so for 2 years it is Rs. 14,050/-
Campus Life :
Most of the focus is on academics but the department takes us on industrial visits to different places. There are many different activities organized by the college as well, such as Essay writing and Debate competitions etc.
Admission :
To get admission you will have to clear the entrance exam held by Central University of Orissa called the CUCET. The exam is of moderate difficulty. The application process is all online and is very simple.
Faculty :
The faculty at the Central University of Orissa is very good. The professors are all highly qualified individuals with several publications and significant research findings in various journals. They are also very experienced.
