The college management is very helpful. They are quite understanding.
Entrance Preview :
I took Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test. I was always fascinated by machines. I scored 63 out of 100 marks. I had heard about this college. So I chose it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course was quite extensive. We had Physics,chemistry,mathematics,English and C language in first year. Then we had strength of materials,thermodynamics,kinematics of machines,C++,material science,production processes etc in 2nd year. We have dynamics of machines heat transfer this semester.
Internships Opportunities :
Many companies came to our college campus this year for internships. The minimum stipend for internships was around Rs 8000. The internship was quite good. We had 4 companies that came to our college for internship purposes.
Placement Experience :
Many companies came to our college campus this year. We had Accenture and TCS Tata Consultancy Services among big companies. Then we had army officials for recruitment. Many more are to come such as L&T,Tech Mahindra among others. The basic stipend offered was Rs 20000.
College Events :
The techno cultural fest at our college is know as Sarvatra. This is held during March. It is a state level fest and colleges from all over the state participate at the fest and some from other states too. The participation is quite good. There are many events such as robotics competition and other mechanical activities and civil are conducted. Dance and beauty contests too are held.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is feasible and affordable by everyone. The development fees is around Rs 22000. The total fees is Rs 70000. They charge commutation fees Rs 18000.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I don't have any idea about the loans provided by the college. But there is a provision for students whose parents don't earn more than a certain amount of money in a year are given a concession in the fees.
Campus Life :
The gender ratio at the college is around 40:60. 40 for girls and 60 for boys. The workshops conducted by different branches such as robotics and android and mechanical are quite common. There is as such no gender inequality or any other inequality for that matter. The economic status of most of the students is good.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is pretty good. The facilities provided are good. They have ventilation for cold air during summer months. The food provided is also good.
Alumni/Alumna :
The seniors at our college are quite helpful. They have been helpful from day one at this college. The alumni network is also very strong. They come to the college from time to time.
Exam Structure :
The exams are quite perfectly scheduled and we get plenty of time to study and prepare for our exams. The labs too were conveniently conducted so that we had enough time to prepare.
Faculty :
The faculty at my college was very experienced and had much knowledge to impart. We had good chemistry faculty and mathematics as well. The faculty at our mechanical department is very much dedicated towards our course curriculum and how we perform.
