Course Curriculum Overview :
Practical courses and subjects had a larger ratio in our curriculum. Also, due to practical courses along with the theoretical research, I preferred this course curriculum but there were some hectic days when final exams were near after the internal tests.
Placement Experience :
In private sectors, the students applied through the institute contact for the internships. However, the placement opportunities were increasing day by day, I preferred to apply for a higher salary to some of the private organizations and companies directly after the period of internship got over.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The master's course in agriculture engineering was of merely to years and it had a much feasible fee structure. As all the students in my class gave 19,100 for the first academic year and the second academic year 11,700 merely.
Campus Life :
As to give somewhat separation, the institute organized cultural programs, curriculum-based student activity, and workshops in the computer labs. There were few students from other region and the library was much good to read several books according to one's interest.
Alumni/Alumna :
There was a separate event of alumni meet generally after the finial exams where we can interact with the former students. But, as I was much busy in the academic curriculum, I couldn't interact much with the senior students at the institute.
Admission :
There was a common entrance test to get admission for Masters of technology in agriculture engineering stream. However, there was a 15% reserved seat who have to give the entrance test fro Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR).
Faculty :
The institute bifurcated and made a separate department or the agricultural engineering students. The head of the department allotted the experienced facilities the lectures as we were proceeding for the graduation. They helped us to score well and taught us the mere practical aspects.
