My college life in CUO

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum was groomed mainly for a future journalist. The course had important topics like Media Productions, Reporting and editing, New technologies in media application, Development Communication, Advertising and Corporate Communication, Interactive Communication Skills, etc. In the last semester, we had to show our Presentation and Viva-voce to get internal marks.

Placement Experience :

Yes, the college provided placement to the students but it is limited. When I was there I also applied for the interview and got the placement from the college but I wanted to do further studies and didn't opt for the job. many of my seniors who got placement from the campus placement drive still working in the same companies. they were very intelligent that's why according to their academic marks it was easy for them to crack the interview.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees were very affordable for the course. I paid around approx INR 7120 for my first semester but in the second semester, the fees were INR 3600. Also, students had to pay Admission Fee, Identity Card Fee, Laboratory Fee, Sports Fee, Medical Fee, Examination Fee and many other fees separately. If you opted for a hostel then you had to pay 5000 at the time of admission. The college also provided scholarships to the backward students.

Campus Life :

My college was very good in sports activities every year games like cricket, hockey, football, volleyball and Kho-kho tournament held on our campus. The college had a facility of the guest house which was made for the visitors, teachers and another guest. College provided a high-speed internet connection in the computer centre of the campus. The hostel facility was available for both girls and boys which was having 236 room with mess facility. in our college, there was a big central library for the students which had a size of 2500 sq. feet and a space of 800 students.

Admission :

For me, the admission procedure was simple I had completed my B.A. from Delhi university in journalism & Mass Communication. then, the college took a common entrance test and I qualified it with good marks, my name was there in the first list. to apply for the entrance exam minimum 50% were compulsory but I had 72% which helped me to get my name in the first list and they gave me a permanent enrolment no.

Faculty :

My college faculty had the ability to the teacher every hard topic in an easy way. The teachers always motivated the dull students and focused on them. Dr Pradosh Kumar Rath was the Asst.Professor of my course. their teaching style was very famous among the students. because they had many tricks to explain a topic which is hard to learn. he treated every student equally and always supported us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course of integrated BSc BEd or BA BEd has demerits and I suggest you not to take admission in it as it's not accepted in central government curriculum due to some curricular glitches..Apart from that for general UG CBCS syllabus is the best

Placement Experience:

At our college, students usually start looking for jobs from the 6th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and others visit the campus to hire students. The number of job offers varies each year. The highest and average salaries depend on the company and the job roles they offer. Not all students might get placed, but the college tries to help as many as possible. As for me, after getting my degree, I'll probably look for a job that matches my skills and interests. If that doesn't work out, I might consider further studies or gaining more experience through internships.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario for now it not that good. There is regression going on so the companies aren't taking that many students. From the 3rd year you are eligible for placements. 450 companies came this year for placements making 5200 job offers. The highest placement this year was 63 lacs by Yugabyte. Average CTC is 8.5 lacs in all streams. Mass recruiters like Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Mindtree, Bosch, Ericsson, IBM etc. Many other notable companies that visited are Bain & Company, CME group, DE shaw & co, JP Morgan Chase etc. According to kiit website, 90% students are placed. 2100 students also got internships via capstone route. My plans after getting the degree is to do a job for some years and then after getting some experience I want to do a startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because now days this course is so demandable and this course is very popular in our collage. There no of 60+ faculties are available and no of students will 3000+ in various streams. All the facilities are highly educated and experienced. There are 2semisters in a year. One is odd semister and second one is even semister. And the examination is very strict process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Currently the pharma field is growing and I think it's the best career path to grow in life. Kanak manjari provide me the chance to enhance my knowledge in this sector. All the faculties are well educated and they help students to clear all their doubts from the grass root levels. They use models live demonstration audio visuals to make us understand the things clearly. In every 2 to 3 months we have to appear term exams or the class tests. These exams are not so tough not so easy you can pass these exams with a little effort.
