Master of Science[M.Sc] [Agricultural Agronomy]

Course Curriculum Overview :

Here, I identified the course to be much lengthy and sightly focused on the research orientation. However, we had a focus on the theoretical part but we had several practical and on-field sessions at the campus itself. I have seen many hectic days during the final exams and assignment submission before the internals.

Placement Experience :

In the master's program, the candidates had copious chances of getting a decent job and that too in the reputed Enterprise like Dana Spicer India Ltd, Jain Irrigation private limited. Also, students got job offers from L&T Infotech with a good package.

College Events :

We had many regional events as the students from the nearby region and also several events which the farmers celebrated typically. On the other hand, the institute organized students' motivation events, faculty greetings, and salutations.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

As the course was of two years, the first-year fees were 63,850 and the second year fees to be paid for the entire year were 46,480. Also, as the fees were entirely reasonable I gave the fees as a whole for the academics at the admissions counter itself.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The scholarship availing procedure was quite complex I have seen students from the SC/ST category who have availed these schemes as they were benefited from the government. Also, as the fees were quite feasible, students did not take the loan facility.

Campus Life :

I used to do activity whenever I got free time from the curriculum and along with me, students from bachelor's degrees also showed interest. Also, there was a gymnasium facility for the students so after the institute timing I did several exercises. However, there were sports, club activity, and seminars with expert lectures.

Admission :

The eligibility criteria were bachelor's degrees and the scores of entrance exams. I got the admission from general quota as I have CGPA above 6.6 and the cut off for SC/ST was 6.5 CGPA. I applied for the Masters's program after a four-year bachelor's degree.

Faculty :

As we had the separate faculties for every subject and that too separate for the regular labs, we received knowledge from these faculties from various perspectives. Also, in our academics, there were syllabus and doubt discussions by the faculties to improve the student's overall knowledge.
