Course Curriculum Overview :

The duration of the course is two years .The course acknowledges us with the studies of biological function which the students the basis of understanding of the abnormal functionalities seen in the human disease and developing new techniques in treating this disease through transnational research. We are also given a lot of assignments which are sometime hectic to do .

Placement Experience :

Many companies came into are campus this year and recruited a pool of students for the departments of neurophysiology , cell biology , biochemistry , pharmacology etc. Summer internships are also given to those students who really want to gain some experience in the medical industry and the stipend for the same starts at 15000 per month.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees for two years is 20,000 which is really very nominal seeing the amount of facilities offered by the institute . You need to even deposit a one time registration fees and security deposit at the start of the foundation program.

Campus Life :

The labs are well equipped with latest technology. Workshops are also organised by the student committee so that the students get more relevant information about philology. Sports activities such as football , basketball , table tennis are also organised by our college council to encourage the students to participate more in extracurricular activities.

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors are very helpful when it comes to doubt solving part . They always guide us in achieving our goals . We also have a alumni cell in our college which hosts events every year in which the senior batches are invited. We really have a good interaction with our seniors . They tell us about their experiences , how difficult it was to manage at some times and many more things.

Admission :

The admission criteria in the college is DUPGMET . Moreover you need to have a degree of MBBS examination and a one year certificate showing that you have completed mandatory rotational internship . There is also a 50% All India quota & 50% quota for the students of Delhi . Except for that you need to at least score 50% marks in NEET examination , 40% for the SC/ST/OBC category. You can apply for the application via online & offline mode. You also need to have full registration with the State medical council/Delhi Medical council/Medical council of India/Dental council of India. The cut off for the course will be decided by the college . I was lucky to have cleared it with a good rank and thus granted admission in the college.

Faculty :

The teachers of our department are very helpful . They all are experienced individuals in their field of expertise . Each student is given utmost importance when it comes to doubt solving part . We are given regular assignments to test our knowledge . Overall all the teachers are really kind and helpful.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements during the final semester of M.Sc Electronics. Companies that visit Jamia are Airtel, TCS, Hitachi, Wipro, AT&T, and Samsung. All students were 100% placed in these big companies. Some who do internships in other companies were offered Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs). The highest package offered was around 5 lakhs and the average offered was around 1 lakh. I did get placed in Reliance Jio, however, I wished to study further, therefore I did a few months of work in the company and then dropped to pursue MBA.
