My journey at RVSKVV

Remarks :

Overall, my experience has been wonderful in my college. I have learnt a lot in these years and grown tremendously as an individual due to the opportunities given to me and the interactions I have had with my co-students and faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course structure is very practically designed. There is enough importance given to practical learning apart from theoretical classes. The university has many Krishi Vigyan Kendras(KVK's) where we get the oppurtunity to learn and develop modern scientific agriculture methods.

Placement Experience :

Most of the students get placed in my university. Companies like Reliance Food Daily Ltd., Pioneer Seeds Private Ltd. visit our campus. There are also Job oriented training and skill development training organised by our university to prepare the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure was feasible for me. It is Rs 33,357 for a period of 4 years of the course. The amount has to be paid in four parts over the duration of the course. It is on par with other universities and is completely justified for the facilities that we are provided.

Campus Life :

The university organizes NCC and NSS activities for the students. Inter college sports meet are also held to promote the all around development of students. Cultural festivals of all kinds are also a part of our college activity.

Admission :

I got admission in the college after clearing the MP Pre Agriculture Test(PAT) conducted By VYAPAM. I had the option of choosing my degree in either agriculture or horticulture but I was more drawn towards the former. Apart from PAT, students with valid ICAR(Indian Council of Agricultural Research) are also given preference.

Faculty :

Most of the faculty is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects. I personally like attending Dr. A. K. Sharma sir's class because of his style of teaching and also because he teaches modern agricultural techniques like quantitative genetics.

Remarks:

On the basis of knowledge i would say everyone should prefer this college for learning content with discipline. but if anyone not able to give their time from 10a.m. to 5p.m. then he or she should not chose at all this college because attendance and assessment are compulsory here.

Placement Experience:

As I am new I this institute I don't have much knowledge about placement but I have a rough idea about it.after some research I found that the placements are really great. The highest package was also good ad the average package is also great. major 'it' companies like Google and Microsoft have come in the past also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose information technology. It is one of the courses which I want to study. The institute really focuses on the practical and labs and their management is also very good. Regular labs are held according to the assigned timetable. The researched field is always open for the students of this institute as it has the Ph.D. course as well. There are also other facilities that are required for starting a career in research.
