Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is updated as per the latest trends in the market. Our college is one of the best colleges to offer B.Tech Mechanical Engineering. in the 1st and 2nd year we learned about Material science, Mechanics of solid, Manufacturing science, Internal combustion engine, Fluid mechanics, Kinematics of Machine. During the 3rd and 4th year, our curriculum was more oriented towards the Machine Design, Automobile, Power plant, Thermodynamics, Auto cad / cad design and Production engineering. Our course structure is carefully curated to provide a proper blend of fun and learning.

Placement Experience :

Government Engineering College - [GEC] Gopalganj gives adequate opportunities to each of the eligible students to secure good placement. The highest packages availed by the students are Rs 4.9 LPA for ME from Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India and Rs 4.5 LPA for ME from Wilmar International. GEC has set a record for the highest placements in Bihar. Moreover, a student Builds UV Light Sanitiser Racket That Kills Coronavirus On Common Surfaces.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Except for tuition fee and examination fee(accepted alongside tuition fee only), there aren't any extra fees charged by GEC. These two are obvious charges as these are common for almost every college. My BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY [B.TECH] mechanical engineering course fee is around INR 100000 per year. which is quite nominal when compared with other colleges.

Campus Life :

The extracurricular activity includes Games, Debate team, Annual programs, social activism, Quiz Competition, many others compositions and extracurricular activities are there for students. that is also good for students mind and health.

Admission :

To apply for UGEAC, i was appeared in JEE Main and got 70 percent marks after that i cleared UGEAC exam that is conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. i got selected for the document verification. and i got admission in Government Engineering College - [GEC] Gopalganj Bihar.

Faculty :

Faculties are very good and qualified, most of the faculties are done their PhD and others are doing, they are having experience of 2- 5 years of experience in teaching and easily accessible in the university. They efforts to give better future for the students. ·

Sad life of Engineering.

Placement Experience:

Yes. Placements are not overall good in my college. But companies come, just like TCS, and many startups reaches our college for providing internships as well as placements. From the 7th semester I.e. 4th year students are eligible for sitting in the placement interview sessions. The average package is around 4-5 lpa. Around 60-70% students get placed every year. I will try my best for the placement but majorly try for the off campus placement.

Tier 3 college but good enviornment

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in 7th semester. The colege placements has increased in recent years with better companies visiting. Company visiting are prism cement, tcs, wipro and many sales vompany Around 10 companies visit during placements Lowest package is 3.6 lpa and highest package is 6.5 lpa Around 90% of cse students are placed, 30% mechanical and ee students. Civil students dont opt for placements. I am currently preparing for civil services exams. Plan to get a govenment job.
