Remarks :

College management is very good, but every college has some plus and some flaws college is good for academic but extracurricular activities are to the minimum, but if the batch is good then academic n extracurricular activities would go hand in hand.

Entrance Preview :

I appeared in MP PMT 2005 and had qualified it with 88% marks at my rank only M.G.M. Medical college was filled, giving me 4 govt medical college to choose from. I opted my college becaude one my school friend was pursuing her medical studies from the same college, and she recommended for the college because of its renowned professors.

Course Curriculum Overview :

1St proff anatomy, physiology, biochemistry 2nd proff pharmacology, pathology, microbiology, forensic medicine 3Rd proff P.S.M, ophthalmology, E.N.T 4th proff Medicine, Surgery, Obstretic and gynecology, pediatrics.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship experience was good, the residents gave there knowledge, made me practice the procedure, helped me shed my fear in minor operation. Including all this they never burdened me, they gave me time for my further P.G.preparation at my time I was offered 5000 p.m. Stipen but now it has been raised.

Placement Experience :

No companies recruit doctors, but nowadays national Rural Health Mission are recruiting medical officer at a pay of 45000 p.m. Straight from the hospital.

College Events :

Yearly fest are organized in which all events are performed including cultural, sports, arts, dance night other then this students are also invited in C.M.E held by the college and also in the fest organised by Junior doctor association of the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

35000 yearly college fees which included tution fees and others examonation fees was seperate as decided by the University 10000 yearly hostel fees, not including the mess.

Fees and Financial Aid :

All scholarship which are given by govt are availed here as this is govt medical college for example scholarship for minorities, scholarship for ST/SC. Green card owner are free from tuition fees.

Campus Life :

Campus life is good as max students are from away places but with good coordination seperate hostels are appointed to carry out different college function by which every hostel can show there creativity and management skills. Workshops are held by hospital time to time, students interested avail the opportunity.

Hostel Facilities :

Rooms are spacious, first year students have to share the room but from 2 nd proff they are free to decide whether they want to continue or want a seperate room rooms are plenty, never they had any type of shortage. PGs avg rental at my Time was 1200.

Alumni/Alumna :

My seniors and alumni were great in my Veiw. My seniors supported me every time I needed, especially during my exam time and guiding me for my vivas. Our alumni were very senior doctors, doctors who are excelled in their departments, but they also helped the student when their intervention was needed, and also when any student approached them directly.

Exam Structure :

Exam pattern was yearly expect for the first proff which takes place after 1.5 yr other than this main exams there were sessionals which took place quarterly and revision classes were held at weekly basis.

Faculty :

Out of the nineteen departments only biochemistry department wasn't upto the mark, but the rest of the department were good, of which some department were eager tomake u learn with there unique style of teaching especially Dr R.K. Jain sir of micro. Dr. P

Course Curriculum Overview:

This curriculum is one the few best developed ones which provides real time problem solving at an actual working facility. The medical college is a part of a tertiary care government hospital to provide , train and allow students to apply the knowledge acquired to utilise to treat the patient under the supervision and guidance of the faculty cum doctors at the hospital. The student feels the pride and responsibility of becoming a doctor and the special attribute the profession holds as a life savior of the society. The curriculum is constantly under modification and scrutiny under the nmc with several reforms over the past decades. Few aspects where more improvement might be done is the more clinical teaching at the initial years of course., which is currently started from 3-4 year. The exams are held often frequently with an internal assessment every 3-4 months followed by a pre- university and university exams each year. The exams hold a difficulty level of above average, making only the ones genuinely preparing for it to pass the exam. The passing percentage is 50 for each exam individually for practical and theoretical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a professional course and you do need skills to treat patients as it may become a matter of life and death. The teaching curriculum is as per the guidelines of NMC which is a central body and consists again of great doctors with reputation all over India. So, I don't really think that I can really suggest any means to improve that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

To do something great for mankind and for society influences me to join mbbs. Cbme is new curriculum of mbbs which more focusing on clinical skills of a student. Areas of improvement is cbme includes integrated learning but most college don't follow it so nmc should be strict for it. Two sessions exam in year and pre university exam and final University exam this exam includes both theory and practical and these are difficult for you if you're are not study through out the year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a professional course and gives one responsible work for life. There are many reasons for one to choose MBBS in their career line. GMC Khandwa is affiliated with MPMSU (Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University-Jabalpur). Faculty in every department is well qualified and experienced. Student Teacher ratio is quite good in college. Although the college is newly opened in 2017 and started students intake in 2018, there are some departments in which some faculty members are required more but are not sufficient due to slow recruitment. But I am very much sure that this loophole will soon be filled as being in pioneer batches, we have seen the growth and development of the college in these years. So we believe in an ongoing process by management. Exams schedule is based on guidelines provided by MPMSU.

It's my dream to go into this field hence I choose this branch. The faculty is top-class doctors very trained and the ratio I would say is 25:1 all faculty are Ph.D. or either doctor. Exams are very difficult to clear hence required a lot of hard work and study by making notes and studying regularly
