Remarks :
I have chosen this college based on its NAAC grade. when I have joined this college grade was best it was A. Later it changed due to some problems such as washroom problems and insufficient of the classroom due to intermediate and degree college is in a single building but intermediate timings are different from degree timing. Degree college starts from the morning and intermediate from the afternoon . ADMISSION PROCESS : admission process for college is the online process we can select our course based on our marks. Admission is given on our merit, there are no entrance exams. PREFERRING COLLEGE : I have selected this college because of autonomous, The nature of college staff, senior and junior are good. There are more opportunities in this college for sports and cultural activities. At least in two months, we have a program based on the current situation. BLOGS : As usual, we can find college on Google. College results are shown in manabadi app. College also has a youtube channel.
Course Curriculum Overview :
COURSE: as I have interested in commerce so I choose the BCOM computer application as my course. This course equips students with knowledge in both commerce as well as in computers. It helps students to use them in business after graduation. FACULTY : The ratio of teacher and student in commerce and arts is 1:80 But whereas in MSC and BSC the ratio is 1:30/40. FACULTY QUALIFICATIONS: The qualifications of faculty are PG with the NET exam. The teacher mostly is well qualified with different methods of teaching style. As few teachers use the dictation methods for theory subjects but practical subjects are been taught on board with clear clarification. Even faculty use to give an answer file for better preparation of exams. TERM EXAMS : Exams are based on semester wise, we have two semesters exams in a year. It's quite tough to pass the exams as unexpected questions come up but it also makes us read the full syllabus for exams which helps us in achieving our dreams.
Internships Opportunities :
There are no such big companies playing the role of the internship. Students are suggested to go through the website for an internship . There are rare chances of internship opportunities. Students like to go through Naukri .com or shine .com for an internship.
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for campus placement from the 5th semester which is final year students. As now I'm in the final year I have not attended any placement program due to junior. Now I'm eligible for placements but this pandemic had planned something else for me. HIGHEST PACKAGES : As I know one of my super seniors had got a package of 3.60 lacs. There are very low chances of getting placements as many students try to get the placements. Most eligible get the placements. I have different plans for my career ahead of graduate I would try to capture government jobs and even I like to go through UPSC exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
FEES: As I already mentioned that I am studying in government college so the fees for my course are set by the government of Telangana. The fees for my course are 6250 which is the highest in the BCOM course. I have to pay the fees in two terms in the first semester of the year I have to pay 4250 and in other semesters I have to pay 2000. We have to clear our fees before the semester. As I suggest the cost of the study is not a great amount as compare to a private institute. SCHOLARSHIP: we have two scholarships of government state and central scholarship. The scholarship is for everyone. For girls in our college, some other scholarships are available.
Campus Life :
ANNUAL FEST : As usual like every college, the city college also held an annual day at the end of the year. They give the opportunity to everyone to get succeed in sports and other cultural activities. The student who participates in more games and wins also gets a gold medal. AVAILABILITY OF BOOKS AND LIBRARY : The college had its own library with almost all the books. We can find our course books as well as general knowledge books with an everyday newspaper in ENGLISH &TELUGU language. AMENITIES IN CLASSROOM : the college had a big classroom with at least 40 benches and a bench of a minimum of 4 seaters. We had all the facilities like other colleges, we also have a 3d projection but in the whole college, we had 3. SPORTS : Mostly college focus on indoor games rather than outdoor, we can find every item of indoor games. we have many chess players from college. SOCIAL GROUP : In college, we have an NSS group for social services.
Hostel Facilities :
FACILITIES: The hostel had provided us a separate bed for every student, there are six members in a room. MEAL QUALITY: Meal quality is normal as we all know none can fulfill our mom's food quality. We had another menu in every weekday. Once a week we get a chicken to eat, and other days are followed by vegetables. REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR HOSTEL : The registration process for the hostel was quite easy because our senior had helped us a lot. LOCALITY: College hostel is at many places such as Abids, Dilsukhnagar, Charminar many more but my hostel location is Abids.
Interview Experience :
GD /INTERVIEW: We had an interview before the allotting of the seat. There were no such tough questions they just asked us about our passed college and school life. PROCESS AND OTHER CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION The process for degree seat was online, we had to select our particular College and course. After the confirmation letter /allotment from college then we had to submit our original to the college. There was not much problem in the process as the college had supported us well. Actually I didn't prepare for any round as I was confident and I know the process of seat allotment.
