Course Curriculum Overview :
the course is nice but there are different ways exams are conducted for different groups, that definitely need to be changed and ubiquitous. there is a research project for internship and is included as a part of the completion of the course. there is a lot of importance given to clinical work and skill related training that moulds you into a better professional.
Placement Experience :
NO CAMPUS PLACEMENT available. as I have already put up the title that this is not a very student-friendly college there is no campus placement program that is there, also there is no stipend that should be given to the interns. they basically make you work a lot and also pay for your own overworking. so placement is 0% as there are no efforts from the college as well to try to place you.
College Events :
Events are boring and all efforts are made by students. no teacher tries to even co-operate and students are made to attend lectures even in case of a small 5-day event named physiofest that takes place. the certificates given for these events are literally on a piece of paper that you can get xeroxed from your local print cafe.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Around 1.2 to 1.4 lac per year so the total is around 5 lac package which has 4 years study and 6 months internship. the college even asks you to chip in to get keyboards for the classroom when that should be included in college fees so that is there. they do provide a payslip but the actual implementation is or is not by that doubtful. but is expected to be followed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college offers no scholarship opportunities to students, the government does. yes, what were the eligibility criteria and procedure to apply for the same is to be of reserved category. the average sum for which the scholarship was provided was half the fee amount.
Campus Life :
No campus life as there are many unnecessary rules told to us that the central library is not accessible to ug physiotherapy students, no hostel in campus, Gender ratios girls are about 75-80% Student/Dorm Parties, workshops, cultural societies or Student diversity and tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status are ok.
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors are great, they are just like few are very helpful while others are not. College seniors or any interaction have had with our alumni were good as well as bad, with mixed reviews. There are really some awesome people out there.
Admission :
Physiotherapy is a rapidly evolving field and the idea of rehabilitation with minimal use of medicines made me more interested and eager to learn more about physiotherapy. As an evolving branch, it was a path that I wanted to explore. but definitely was not an easy way to get into medicine so the nearest one was this. the admissions were by the state cell and the entrance exam was conducted by the same.
Faculty :
Lectures depend on the year of this profession you are in. they are more for beginners and slowly the numbers decrease as you go higher. to enter the course you should have cleared the 12th grade. there are more medicine-related subjects in the initial year with the initial years focusing on you increasing your knowledge basics and later as you move ahead there is evaluation and management. all the teachers are physiotherapists or medical professionals and take lectures accordingly.
