Faculty should give equal importance to other activities other than only studies and acedemics.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Yes facilities provide us with theoretical as well as practical knowledge. Field or industrial visits are arranged at various locations to study the concept in depth. This gives us clear knowledge of that concept. Also various competitions based on the acedemics subjects are imparted so that students gain interest in the subject.
Placement Experience :
Approximately placements for this year is 350+ students including all branches. All fields are motivated to attend practices sessions on how to crack the tests and interview. Various start-up, business companies and mass recruiters have been selecting students. Also core companies are also available. Internship after 2nd and 3 rd year are compulsory. Colleges help us find internships which help us in our resume during placement.
College Events :
There are many technical events like coding, code related games, design competition. Also cultural events like singing, dancing, treasure hunt, student of the year, department of the year competitions are held. Other than that flash mobs are also arranged to encourage students to join various clubs in our college. Also events like independence day, ganesh pooja are arranged.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The total fees for management student is around 86000 Rs. Previously there was cash accepted but for more convenience now we have to do online transfer, NEFT or RTGS. Other than this we have to use DPU pages which we get in specific shop for any tests or internal exams which costs 5 rs for 4 pages. Also various events are organised which has entry fee from 50 rs to 200rs. Also recently for conference we had to pay 1000 rs to attend it.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No. I have never opted for scholarships. I was a management student, so i was counted in the open caste. Which never game me an opportunity for enrolling myself for scholarships.
Campus Life :
There are many clubs. Cultural,robotics, race car, coding and also event are arranged in the month of February encouraging to participate in the same. Also many fresh minds are encouraged to start their clubs which helps contributing personal growth of students.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes. College helps us connect with alumni by arranging guest lectures. Face to face interactions helps understand more about particular field and also for guidance.
Admission :
I got the admission in the management quota. Initially i opted for CS but there were no seats available. Then i took admission in mechanical branch. The process was quite simple. We needed to collect admission form from student section. Then fill the form and submit it with required documents. Then all these documents were verified and final step was submit the form and fees at account section.
Faculty :
For my course there are 4 subjects currently. All facilities are highly educated and if required trained and guided by head of department. Facilities not only give us acedemics knowledge but also practical knowledge by giving interesting real life examples. Also to keep us entertained the include funny riddles.
