Remarks :

At first office staff management is not good .and toilet were not hygienic.and compound was dirty .but now its developing and becoming more clean.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Exams process is fair.and strict too.they check all the body parts whlie giving exam.i dont think someone can use unfair means becoz its very strict there.there is no used of unfair means.seating arrangements are also fairly done there.wont provide industry specific knowledge. Placements process is not good

Placement Experience :

Ryt now there nothing about placement and internship becoz courses are very less compound also.hold only degree course.

College Events :

Celebrate Annual day ,womens day,sports day,fashion nights,martyrs day,teachers day.there is lots of participation becoz college holds more than 3000 students .there is lots of competition. But best thing whether they win or lose they will participate Have free spirit quality

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible.becoz in other college students are paying more for same course as i belong to poor family. This is where i can afford my course. It was just around 2000 annual. In back you will get stipend triple of what we use .fees are cheap as compare to others college

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I have opted for college stipend .as they provide good amount.around 16000 which is good you can buy books etc.and best thing you will get in time.no chaos

Campus Life :

I think there is more female than males.in cultural activities boths boys and girls participation is equal.here they dont care about any race,religion. As everyone is living secular life.labs .debates everything performed.i think yet they lack in sports.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes.as i got good percentage in 12 beco of that i got admission in hostel.as hostel fees are very less.as in paying guest you have to pay 5000 per month but in college hostel i just have to pay 13000 annually

Hostel Fee : INR 13000 per yearExternal Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes they are .beco by that you get motivation. To do something in life.alumni network is helpful and good.they surely affected me becoz by that only iam what iam ryt now

Admission :

At first we have to fillup the forms.as selection process is based on merit list.one who have more percentage in 12 will get first selected if there is seat available then they will take extra students.though i belong to science stream the competition is not that much but in other department there is lots competition for seats etc.one who have good percentage can also apply for hostel admission becoz there selection is also based on merit ones.region wise

Faculty :

Especially some of lecturer are very talente and good .they try to help in all ways.they hold certificates too.they dont pressurise us in study hard.just says live like fullest.help us to study by giving books too.library is best part.we get all books

Course - bsc forestry syllabus is well defined based on the new syllabus from the year 2020 batch for affiliation with icar. Involves compulsory 4 months internship in the final year (4 year course) Faculty - total 9 + guest lecturers They are very experienced and one of the very dedicated to their work. Teaching is through presentation, notes, experiences and learning from practical activities. Exam- mid sem and end sem in between each semester. Involves Quizes and practicals.

Sincere and complete review about NERIST

Placement Experience:

Placement is eligible for final year students according to the cgpa prefered by the external companies or agents. Companies visited are PRADHAN, Efu-station and other companies. They provided minimum of 10-15 candidates. Highest offer is upto 16LPA and minimum is around 3.5 LPA. Average is about 5-6 LPA. Pecentage of students getting placement is about 15-20 percent. After getting the degree i will go for upsc exams for post of IFS or other exams for jobs.

Forestry is professional and interesting course. Faculty: student ratio is 1:3 Qualification of faculty have PhD. And teaching method is good. Exams term have 2 terms . Midsem & endsem. Exams pass is mild difficult.

A subtle review of NERIST

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is based under the ICAR curriculum. All the faculty members are well experienced and knowledgeable with various achievements and papers under their names. The course provides a kneen knowledge of the importance of forest in the improvement of our living conditions. The terminal examinations are a bit intensely planned but can be cracked if preparations are made regularly with regular attendance in classes. The faculty:student ratio is ideal.

Admission:

I got admission into this college through the joint entrance examination conducted by the ICAR. The examination is held online and for it you are required to have knowledge in biology. You also need to submit various documents for verification.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very good and work tirelessly to get the children placed. The college provide internship facilities where you actually learn to implement things and gain more and more practical knowledge.
