very good college and i am live in that locality so that is helpful for me and my brothers cousins and ancesters studied in this college so thats why my parents wants to admit me in islamia college and i am very thankful to my parents because islamia is very good college

Course Curriculum Overview :

sports faculty is very good in my college because i am a big fan of any game especially cricket is my favourite game and i love to play cricket with my college mates so in my college sports faculty is very good and i am very thankful to my college principal who provides us such type of faculties

Placement Experience :

jobs and placements are very good in ky college because my college principal knows that we students in Kashmir are no scope after even studying so that he keeps his placements and jobs opportunity in college very good

College Events :

campus life is so beautiful because my college holds events in every month and every end of year and in participations many students join them to show his talents and much more and when in college festival day that day is a very beautiful day in our college life thousand are students joined festivals and participates

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

scholarship form because scholarship form is very necessary for those students who are not eligible to pay her or his fees and i am very thankful to my college because principal is very curious about those who are very poor so that he was give a scholarship for those students

Campus Life :

my campus infrastructure is very good in every format their are many good equipments in whole campus in library number of books are in good quantity and in sports every sports games are available like football, rugby, volly ball, cricket , tennis, badminton, carrom and very much

Hostel Facilities :

i live in hostel room and my room is good enough for one person because their is single bed and in my room fans are available and washroom are attached to the room and it is very easy to avail the hostel facility because hostel room is very good in my college

Hostel Fee : INR 20000 per year

Actually i was interested in business from starting only. I wanted to do BBA but unfortunately i didnt have good marks in class 12th . So i couldn't get admission in BBA. Bcom was my second preference. So had to do that.

MY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'll rate it 7/10. My course has 7 subjects in total among those 3 are my course related 2 are language and 2 are totally irrelevant. I don't know why i am studying computer science as a commerce student. Why i chose this is because i wanted to a degree is commerce. Well my relevant subjects teach me business. I want to start a business of my own so they are gonna help a lot. By subjects like accounting i can maintain record very well. Management subject teaches how to manage things efficiently. Well to improve the course remove irrelevant subjects. This will make course easier and willing to opt. Teaching can be improved if teachers focus on like making students learn about the things well that will impact there practical life rather than just teaching to complete syllabus. Teachers should focus on development of student not "is our syllabus complete??" Well each year has two semesters and one semester is 6 months at the end of which they have to take exams.

SPMR COLLEGE OF COMMERCE JAMMU - A BRIEF REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

Under UGC B.COM, the subjects like Accounting influenced me to choose this course as I am interested to learn the subject and even the curriculum is good enough to help in learning. The curriculum is also designed in a way to apply the things learned in the course in professional life but not in real life. According to me, the course is well designed except some subjects that have been put in the course such as Hindi, EVS etc. which may not be useful in professional life of student The exams are conducted well before the time. The semester duration is of 6 months. But they take semester end exams within 4 months. The difficulty level is easy to moderate.

Entrance Preview:

I took the CAT and successfully qualified the text. I was motivated to take B.Com due to my interest in the enterprise world and my passion working in the commerce industry.

Placement Experience:

Talking about the placement front, the college has a dedicated placement cell and each year a score of students get placed in various companies like HDFC, HCL, IBM, etc. During my course a total of 15 companies visited the campus for placement and about 20 students were placed, 5 of them in HDFC and Reliance Mutual.
