Remarks :

They are mismanaged at times. They happen to fuss up things

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course equipped me with new techniques and methods used in construction industry. The fees taken were affordable and also way more lesser than market standards. The market is very dynamic in nature and the knowledge I've gained in the course has certainly helped me.

Placement Experience :

Placement has certainly been an issue with college as it does not guarantee it. They certainly help you in getting placed but the treatment the companies get have certainly diminished the chances of students getting placed. Students mostly depend upon their own contacts and sources for their placement.

College Events :

The college hosts several cultural, technical and management events in the due course. Insight is a national level conference wherein dignitaries from construction industry are called to give a speach about their work and motivate students to take up business.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Yes, the fee structure is very much feasible. The competitive colleges such as nicmar and rics charge almost double or triple the fees taken at MIT. It is affordable and worth the money. The knowledge and job assistance we get can be covered up in this cost.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No. I did not opt for any scholarship or education loan. I paid the money in two installments. The college is supportive enough to understand your financial problems and allows you to pay the fees as per your request.

Campus Life :

The campus has been awarded the best campus. It is very huge comprising of about 17 colleges, hostels, canteens and world's largest done. The gender ratio is fair and safety is certainly taken care of. The guards are assigned all over the campus. It's safe

Hostel Facilities :

No. I did not opt for a hostel as it was located very far from my college premises. I rented and apartment with a batchmate. It was way more efficient and cost cutting compared to joining the college hostel.

Alumni/Alumna :

Our seniors were very helpful and friendly. They already gave us a brief about the working of the college, the essential tips we'd need to sustain in the environment and the guidance we would get from the teachers.

Admission :

Looking for a master's in construction management. Considering done only bachelor in civil engineering was not enough in today's dynamic nature of construction industry. You always need to be updated with your knowledge. This college offered the required knowledge at affordable fees.

Faculty :

The college has a team of about 5 inhouse professors with 4 external faculties. All this staff is well versed with the syllabus and their knowledge is to the point. They take their time to discuss and teach every concept and make every student comfortable in his/her grasping power.

From trimester 4, students are eligible for placements. Every year, top pharmaceutical corporations pay visits to institutions. Pharmaceuticals, medical devices, market research, consulting, IT healthcare verticals, diagnostics, medical communication, nutraceuticals, and other related healthcare sectors are just a few of the industries where students might find work. Sales, marketing, business analysis, project management, client servicing and business development, international marketing, and operations are among the job profiles they pursue. Every year, the most expensive bundles change. Companies give PPOs to high-performing employees.

There is a summer internship after the first 3 trimesters where companies come for interviews and roles depend on the company that selects you. It is for 2-3 months usually and is compulsory ie a part of the curriculum to complete to qualify for the degree. Same for final placement, interviews begin after the 4th trimester is done. More than 50 companies came to campus for final placement and highest package given was 11.2 lakhs and average was 8.8 lakhs which depended on the company and the job role. Roles are offered for consulting, IT, media, manufacturing and banking and finance roles of HR Generalist, HR Business Analyst and Talent Acquisition. Companies such as Godrej, IndusInd bank, TCS, Zee, Meru, Capstone, etc were the prominent companies for the final placement. 100% placement was achieved for the HR specialization.

A total of 181 companies visited the campus for the Summers of 2020-22 batch. 28 of them were from Fortune 500 companies and 90 new recruits. The total number of offers made was roughly 650-700 and still counting. The highest stipend was 3 lakhs and the average stood at 1.2 lakhs. Top 50 offers clocked an average of 2.48 lakhs. The different profiles for which the companies came were IT analytics, Consulting, E-commerce, BFSI, FMCG, FMCD, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Media & Telecom, Logistics, oil, and gas, etc. NMIMS Mum has 100% placement records. They do have a placement committee. Most of my classmates are already placed at top-notch brands and agencies through the placement cell. Post 9 months, we have to do a mandatory internship to get hands-on experience of the industry life and work culture.
