Remarks :

I wanted to get admission in Mechanical Engineering stream. And this University is in my own city that is why I opted this. Also this is one of the prestigious engineering college in my state. Although now it's not as popular as it was before.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is very good. All the faculties are highly educated and helpful. But the curriculum is not as good as it should be. It doesn't have advanced labs and the essential practical knowledge it not provided properly.

Class Size : 75Course Fees : INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience :

Companies such as INFOSYS, IBM, WIPRO, TCS, JARO EDUCATION, NBC Bearings etc visits the college every year and students get placed in the mentioned. The placement cell works very hard and do everything they can to get the students placed.

College Events :

Campus life is Average. Various events are organised during the college festivals. Some of them are THAR(Techfest), ANUKRITI( Cultural fest) The participation is not that good mostly local colleges take part in the fest or one or two NIT's.

Campus Life :

The campus is good but a bit too old. Infrastructure is getting better day by day. The sports facilities are worse. Library is good but could have been better. Labs are getting new equipments. While branches such as Electrical and Computer Science have good labs as well as good infrastructure.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel infrastructure is also getting better now but it will take time. Fees is about 8000 per year for hostel while the fees for food is above 40000 per year. WiFi is provided but doesn't work mostly.

"Inside LNMIIT" : A Comprehensive College Review

Placement Experience:

Placements here are good enough. A large number of registered students placed every year but last year due to recession insitute placements dropped down from around 95 percent to 70 percent, and this thing happened in every college even in IIT's. some students got placed but did not accepted the offer due to low CTC. and the average package was also dropped last year. Highest CTC offered was around 50 lpa and average CTC dropped down to 11 LPA from 15 LPA last to last year. There are various companies came to our college including Media.net, D.E. Shaw, BNY MELON, AMAZON, FLIPKART, EAGLEVIEW, ION GROUP, TEKION CORP, SCHLUMBERGER, HONDA CARS, DELOITTE, IBM and many more, number of offers made for 2024 batch was 330 as per the placement cell data. and from 7th semester students are eligible for the campus placements. My only plan is to get a decent placement in a tech company and no further study plans I have.

Good Placements and Social Life in College.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd and 4th years students can become eligible for placements. there are many companies visited in my college like infosys, wipro, tcs, tech, Microsoft, flipkart, accenture and all. 75% of students got placed. my plane is not only for getting degree my dream is to become a Software Engineer. Highest package is 45LPA and Average package is 10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So basically btech is a 4 year course and there are 8 semester,2 sem for each year. As they need to provide 6 month for each sem according to our calculations but they'll only provide u 4 month for each sem which leads a mental disturbance for students coz there are so many exams in every month of the sem so this is hectic but the examination are not so hard and not so easy and also 75 percent attendance is mandatory for all to sit in exam

Placement Experience:

As earlier said there is a lot of upper hand in terms of placements if we compared it with other private institutions, BITJ has a very good placement cell especially made for Btech placements students starting from 6th sem onwards sitting in cell visited by many different companies with a lot different package. The average package of BitJ is about 900000, especially for the CSE branch and highest, go upto 30lac more depending on individual skills and qualities and about 80-90 % of students got placing every year and the rest go to higher studies n all.
