Remarks :
Positive remarks--- 1.old engineering college of rajasthan. 2. Large and well campus. 3. Hostel are clean. 4. Greenery in campus. 5. A big library is situated in campus. 6. Ragging free institute Negative remarks---- 1.almost senior professor have rude behaviour not all professor. 2. Lab don't have all instruments and don't follow schedule. 3. Mess serve poor quality food. 4. Poor condition of campus placement. 5. No extra curricular activities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Here in this college, I am pursuing my b.Tech course. As we all know this is a technical course which follows same rules as follow another engineering college like nit and iit. The bigger difference for this college -- in every semester Every subject have 50 marks internal marks which depend on your marks in the midterm. Two midterm exams are conducted for every subject. And 100 marks as external exam so for every subject here is 150 marks. this b tech course is good to improve technical skills.
Placement Experience :
I will say not more opportunities like nit or iit. This is an honest review of my college. In my college Every year almost 560 student passed out but only 20% student achieve their job by campus placement. In this 20% mostly come from cs and it branch.for other branch student campus placement is very very very poor. yes my college provide internship. If you are in top 5 of branch then College can arrange an internship programme for you in jadhavpur university. And all spend pay by college.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Neither feasible nor expensive.here are 4 type of seats available with fees per semester --- 1. TWFS-GAS (ONLY FOR CIVIL BRANCH)-----fees is 7500 rs per semester 2. GAS(ONLY FOR CIVIL BRANCH) ------fees is 15000 rs per semester 3. TWFS-SFS (FOR ALL BRANCH) ----fees is 10500 rs per semester 4. SFS(FOR ALL BRANCH)---fees is 35000 rs per semester. TWFS and GAS seats are government funded seat so these have low fees but these seats are distributed according to marit list. In eveey branch there are only 2% TWFS seat. Note please GAS and TFWS-GAS seat are only available for civil branch and which are inly 64. So i can say 35000 rs is expensive and other fees are feasible. So i can say almost here 80% seats have 35000 rs fees
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For this i have two answer positive and negative. If you belong to sc or st category then you don't need to pay fees for even semester it means you can study whole year by paying one semester fees. And if you are from general then College don't provide any type of scholarship. In case of loan College don't help. If you are a brilliant student and you have good academic score then contact to your local bank where you belong. If bank manager will agree to issue lian then you can pay feex by loan but college don't help to issue loan.
Campus Life :
Here i am giving an honest review. So in my college labs don't have full instruments and teachers also don't pay attention for lab teaching. Teachers only focus for your Theory classes. If you have really interest in engineering then don't come to this college because no lab follow shedule here. Here are tanis Court, volleyball court, football ground in poor condition.here is also a gym. But i will say gym is not a gym. Because gym have only 5 instruments. So this college don't help to improve your extra curricular activities.
Hostel Facilities :
I will choose hostel. Because hostel are almost in new condition. But food is too rubbish that i can't say. Hostel are under college and government rules. Hostel fees for 1. For single seater room hostel fees is 9200 rs per year. 2. For double seater room hostel fees is 8200 rs per year 3. For triple seater room hostel fees is 7260 rs. And if we talk about mess fees then i will say mess fees is too high. Mess fees is 3750 rs per month. In one day students get breakfast, lunch, dinner. But all are in bad condition with poor taste.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumini network is neither too strong nor too weak. College conduct a reunion programme only for those students who are passed out 25 years ago. They just conduct tbis programme so we don't know nature of our alumni. And but in case of my senior i can say all seniors are helpful. No ragging is here. This is a ragging free institute
Admission :
First i passed my 12 class with 84.00% and passed also jee main exam then after passing jee main exam i fill up form for Rajasthan engineering college. In Rajasthan to get an engineering college, there is no separate exam. Rajasthan engineering college just make merit list by use of 12 marks and jee main marks and conduct counseling for students. After fill up the application form, my college counseling was started then i got to this engineering college of Kota whose name is Rajasthan technical university Kota. Now i am pursuing my b.tech in the electronics and communication engineering branch.
Faculty :
When i just admitted in this college there was a few faculty but now a days there are almost all faculty are available. So here is no lack of faculty and almost all faculty are senior and they are highly educated like ph.d. i am not saying that all faculty are highly educated here some faculty have master degree but i can say here is two type of faculty first is junior faculty which has no more experience and not having a degree like ph.d. But ratio of these junior faculty is less than senior faculty. Some teacher are really goid some show rude behaviour. Alk type of professor are here.
