Remarks :

There is a course named BCOM ACCA, so basically my plan was to pursue this course, in the year 2017 only few colleges were offering this course, and CMR University had a good name for BCOM ACCA in bengaluru, so at the end i took admission here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Yes, the courses and the study material provided to us was the latest material we receive every semester, because in accounting stream there are many changes done when needed so our study material should also be updated every year, We were also taken to several industrial visits like in company UNIBIC and ITI Bengaluru where the head of the industry use to brief us about the work both physical and paper work about how it is done, it was really a good experience visiting the industry and getting an idea about it.

Internships Opportunities :

I did my internship in my semester holidays after 3rd semester and that was a subject in 4th semester it was quite good experience, so my internship was in a casual clothing company which comes under myntra.

Placement Experience :

Placements on CMR university is good as compare to many other colleges, many companies from almost every industry use to come for placements in college both start-ups and corporate companies use to come like SAP Labs, EY, Accenture, TTK enterprises and many new companies comes for the job profile of client servicing, BPO, marketing, Sales business analyst, TRMS etc. according to my understanding your internship will play a very good role for you to get the job it gives you a very good experience of how the work is done on ground level.

College Events :

Well CMR University has many campuses in Bengaluru offering different courses from all the streams. So, out of these the campus from where I studied was good it was small than the other campuses but it was quite well maintained and the campus was having sitting area for students, boys’ hostel and girls’ hostel was also around 100 metres from college. The quality of education on good in this campus (CMR University HRBR Layout). I would rate my college campus 3.5 out of 5. Coming on hostel, I stayed only a year in hostel and my review for hostel is very good because it was very well maintained the hostel is very clean and it has rooms of single accommodating and double accommodation, food quality in hostel is okay but it is better than most of other college hostels as I feel because I have heard about it. I would rate college hostel 4.5 out of 5.

Placement Experience:

For the day college, there are placements. Every year a lot of start-up companies or small scale companies come for campus interview. A lot of students are selected. But the package is around 1.8 - 2 lacs per year. For evening college I don't they have campus placements. We have to look for jobs ourselves. I plan on doing internships and learn after my graduation.
