Remarks :

St. Stephen's requires no introduction. It is the most prestigious college in India, offering 10 courses to around 400 students every year. Whether it is placements or faculty or the extra curricular, it stands best in every aspect. The teachers are more than supportive and the campus is quaint and beautiful. I chose this course because I had always liked Chemistry in school and wanted to pursue a career in it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The university has laid out a very detailed curriculum which is followed by all the DU colleges. It includes both the theoretical and practical aspects of the subject. St. Stephen's college excels in academics and the teachers make sure of that. The teaching-learning process is very efficient and transparent and teachers are very welcoming to any suggestion that might improve the process further. Anyone who takes up this course here would come out as a more knowledgeable and better person.

Placement Experience :

Topmost companies and MNCs come into Stephen's every year during the annual placement session where dozens of students get placed with handsome package. Stephen's has many notable alumni such as Konkona Sen Sharma, Rahul Gandhi etc

College Events :

Our college is known for striking a perfect balance between academics and extracurricular activities. We have over 40 societies and clubs such as Choreography Society, MusicSoc, Civil Services Forum, Quiz Club, Theater and the list goes on. Each department has their own fest every year.

Campus Life :

Fully functional gym, sports arena. The basketball court is very famous. Labs have all the necessary equipment and more required to perform an experiment. High-speed Wi-Fi Cafeteria whenever someone is feeling hungry. Three-story Library has textual, fictional, and non-fictional books.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because in the department of botany our college got 1st rank in all over India. And also botany is the core branch of any biology courses which belongs from plant biology. The frequency of exams was approximately 3 months in a semester. And level of examination was moderate which is pretty good for students.

Through my college days.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very updated and deep. It is almost equal to the btech course. Many papers are the same as the btech syllabus. Better than many other university syllabus. May be a little difficult to catch up if you come from any other streams. Also, they provide a generic elective subject which is helpful for the students to acquire the basics from other streams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I was not sure about whether i should go for physics hons or computer science hons. I thought I should study both so that I can know in which subject I am interested . So this course helped me in that. Also if you are one who wants to pursue career in civil services this can be the one of the ideal courses for that, as it is not that much difficult to study as well you can prerpare for your other exams side by side.

Easy Internship

Placement Experience:

you get eligible for placement in the third year and various companies approach you while you are in the third year provided you have a skillset. The highest package so far is of 25 lakh and the percentage of students getting placement is about 40 percent. My plans are also the same getting a placement and then seeing for further bigger opportunities.

Dyal Singh College one of the best colleges of South Campus, Delhi University

Course Curriculum Overview:

My interest lies in Chemistry. So, I opted for it. The faculty of Dyal Singh College of Chemistry is good, some teachers are phenomenal but there are also some below-average teachers. In the last year, I had found good teachers. The curriculum is not so difficult, you just have to remain regular in classes. You can score good marks in Labs so it will be easier to pass the written exam. The exam happens in a 6-month cycle.
