Remarks :

The teachers are really good there and if you want to do job you can because the attendance is not compulsory. and the faculty is also good and helpful. the main reason to join somaiya was sports. because it really good for sports people

Course Curriculum Overview :

We had different syllabus than Mumbai University. because now my college is autonomous but we got the certificate of Mumbai University.so the syllabus was pretty good and interesting. also we got notes from our college.

Course Fees : INR 9000 per year

Placement Experience :

None. because only the toppers get the job there. the marks should be of B+ and above. so we didn't applied for any interview. our application got rejected. Not good for placement if you are and average student.

College Events :

It was pleasure to be in somaiya. they had so many fest in there colg. I have participated in dance competition many a time and that was really awesome. and we were also in the cultural team it was pleasure to work with them and learn many things.

Campus Life :

Somaiya is famous for it's campus and really huge and have many sports to play. also the size of library is of 2 floors which is really good. the computer labs have about 60 computers. also the science lab is really really big.

There are quite good companies which reach out our college as it is Mumbai University affiliated. Average package is around 3 lakhs. After the completion of 2 years placement cell drops notices for placements.

Placement Experience:

After Sem 5 you are eligible, I applied to AngelOne also in Infinite financial services and I got offers from both, as I m doing an internship I don't have much idea about the package, 85% of students get placement may be more than that, I am pursuing CFA so I don't know much about my placement.

HR college- the second best college of Mumbai?

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good. They keep their exams well scheduled. The teachers are average and won't say they are great as they don't put much effort because 90% of classes are empty after the first few weeks. Yes there is no minimum attendance But talking about our English teacher she has a PhD in English and speaks well although out of three math teachers. The exams were moderate as compared to NM mithai and Podar. And it wasn't that difficult to pass. Although the invigilators won't leave the classroom for a single second during exams which would make it difficult for copying.

The internal exams are very important to give and also it is very difficult to pass in internals. In the exam, the supervisors are also 2 in each class and they are also very strict. No student can copy in this college. The faculties are also highly educated and their teaching method is also very good. The college has 2 computer labs also.

One of the best college for bcom

Placement Experience:

The college has good opportunities for the student's placement cell which objects to prepare students for difficulties. Some of the companies that visited the campus for placements are HDFC Bank Aditya Birla capital. 42 to 60% of students got placements in campus placement. My plan degree is to pursue MBA from SP Jain College.

All about KC College

Placement Experience:

Final year students become eligible for campus placements from semester 5. There are quite a lot of companies that visit. From companies in the Big 4 to Taj, Wipro etc. I did not sit for campus placements so I am not sure about the number of offers made, salary packages and percentage of students getting placed as well. My plan after getting my degree is to pursue Master's in Business Management.

Remarks:

The college timing should be made more consistent. At least a fixed schedule must be set. Especially the duration of lectures, sometimes we have same subject for two consecutive hours which turns out to be too much.
