Student's Review On Symbiosis School Of Economics - [SSE], Pune

Remarks :

I have chosen this course because marketing is a good field with a high success rate. I am comfortable in this field as it brings the best out of me. Fests conducted here are good, and we have sports and cultural fest separately, which is of 3 days each. Our campus is alcohol and smoke-free zone.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty members and staff on the campus are average only. They are qualified and knowledgeable. But lack quality in the method of teaching. The course curriculum is relevant and up-to-date. The college also prepares each and every student to become industry ready.

Placement Experience :

Almost 99% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3.75 LPA and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top roles offered to the students are strategy, creative and communications. Placements team helps students in getting groomed to face the industry panellists by organising various interfaces with industry experts.

College Events :

We really have good campus life even though with not great infrastructure. Our campus is the first established campus in Pune. so despite it being old and small classrooms there is no other default in the college and also everything is as perfect as diamond

Placement Experience:

From third semester students are eligible for getting placements. Companies like Cairn India, SLB, Exonn, Halliburton etc come every year for placements. Highest package is around 24 lakhs and average is 13 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is very less. After getting degree anyone can give competitive exams like gate for PSUs and GSI and if anybody is interested they can go for phds.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity is more of research based. They have dissertations for students at the end of of their academic year, and also provide mentors for the same. The syllabus is also not very vast and covers the most necessary topics.

The placements are actually very nice since if you study well, all of the students can be eligible for placements and there are various companies which visit on campus for hiring so there is always a chance of 100% placements here. The highest package goes upto 14 LPA.

Placement Experience:

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.
