My dad was an alumni of this college, best societies, best teaching environment, exposure to all kinds of extra-curricular activities, simply the best college DU has. The reputed teachers, the history of its placement records, political environment being one of its kind

Course Curriculum Overview :

Economics Hons. itself is very quantitative and subjective as a course. My college makes sure that all the study material, the course syllabus and teaching methods are totally up to date. We are provided industrial exposure at par or even better than that of most private universities, where tuition fees exceeds lakhs. I think that the science research faculty in our college is exceptional

College Events :

My college has students from all over the country, some of them even being from abroad, the cutoffs and eligibility makes it easy to determine why each student here is gifted. Mecca is the biggest fest of my university, and we are fortunate enough to witness different fests and cultural programs being organised every single day here. Selection on the basis of sports in Hindu is very tough compared to that of other colleges, thus showcasing the level of talent here.

Great Time At Hansraj!

Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell of the college is very active. Students can avail themselves of the placement opportunities from the fifth semester. I have been selected as a content writer in the fifth semester. I was offered a 4.6 LPA in the esteemed company. More than 40 percent of students end up doing getting jobs. I have decided to earn some experience as a content writer and then apply for the MA journalism program.

Placement Experience:

For the courses like Architecture, Engineering, Law, Mass Communication, many big companies come for placements in Jamia. As my course is a Bachelors's subject under Arts, there aren't many placement opportunities. But I hope to pursue my Master in History after which I would try to get placed.

BA Program at St. Stephen's College

Placement Experience:

The placements for BA Program in particular are slightly lower as compared to other courses. Most students from the course opt for higher studies but the few who choose to sit for placements find it hard to land a job. Campus placements start in 5th semester and continue for the entire final year. A student is free to sit for as many companies as they like, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria like CGPA, course, etc. Most companies hire a maximum of 4 students owing to the small population of students at St. Stephen's. The highest package in 2021 was 18LPA and the average package is about 6 LPA-8 LPA.
