Remarks :

Only college to provide a degree in tourism management.no other college of Delhi university provides such course. Very good infrastructure and faculty in college and all amenities are available. This college provides more than 12 courses

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course syllabus was up to date and very interesting and informative. We were provided with some educational visits and we were given exposure to a lot of internships also. All faculties were best, very friendly teachers and very knowledgeable.

Internships Opportunities :

No, I haven't opted for an internship.

Placement Experience :

We were offered a number of placement opportunities from different companies. If I talk about tourism management then one of the best travel companies visited our college for placement and most of the students got a job.

College Events :

Campus life was awesome. Good and positive vibes coming from all over as soon as you enter the college. There was a stage area in the middle of the college where they organise all kinds of festivals, events and other functions

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I don't think there is any good scholarship or loan facility offered by college that I know of or availed. But one should definitely look for something like loan because there might be some facilities that I am not aware about because I haven't availed such facilities.

Campus Life :

College campus was very big and there was a big playground and a nice library. There was a small canteen with delicious and affordable food available during college time. Labs were fulfilled with appropriate equipments.

Hostel Facilities :

The college is located in South Delhi where there is a lot of good PGs and rooms available for students at affordable prices. The PGs are easily available at a distance of only 100 metres from College.

Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell of the college is very active. Students can avail themselves of the placement opportunities from the fifth semester. I have been selected as a content writer in the fifth semester. I was offered a 4.6 LPA in the esteemed company. More than 40 percent of students end up doing getting jobs. I have decided to earn some experience as a content writer and then apply for the MA journalism program.

Placement Experience:

For the courses like Architecture, Engineering, Law, Mass Communication, many big companies come for placements in Jamia. As my course is a Bachelors's subject under Arts, there aren't many placement opportunities. But I hope to pursue my Master in History after which I would try to get placed.

Placement Experience:

The placements for BA Program in particular are slightly lower as compared to other courses. Most students from the course opt for higher studies but the few who choose to sit for placements find it hard to land a job. Campus placements start in 5th semester and continue for the entire final year. A student is free to sit for as many companies as they like, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria like CGPA, course, etc. Most companies hire a maximum of 4 students owing to the small population of students at St. Stephen's. The highest package in 2021 was 18LPA and the average package is about 6 LPA-8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Around 70% of the students get good campus placements, especially in the private sector. The average package for the students is 6,000,00 per annum. The highest package offered to the student varies between 25 lakhs to 35 lakhs. My plans are different as I want to pursue my higher education.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good. It has tie ups with reputed news channels. But in our course, the college does not provide internships, students have do it themselves and they have to prepare their own youtube channel for work.

Remarks:

The management is an equally hardworking and efficient team like the faculties. They maintain a good relationship with the students as well as with the teachers and are approachable for both the parties. Their functioning has ensured that the college runs smoothly in terms of presenting itself to others.

The college timings and the unprofessional conduct of many teachers and the office staff has made college an exhausting experience. There are no proper channels for conveying our complaints and suggestions.
