Entrance Preview :

PET. But now it is through jee mains. My rank was 2500 in PET. For jee mains 30,000 rank would work for general category.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It has all major engg courses. CS, IT,MECHANICAL,CIVIL,ELECTRICAL, EC, CHEMICAL, BIOTECH and newer branches like environmental studies. The course curriculum is decent to get through company placements if one is good at communication skills. Students from MITS also excel In GATE. There are students who have air 5 in gate from MITS. Therefore the course curriculum is genuine.

Internships Opportunities :

There are hardly 5- 10 students who go for internship and they do it all by themselves. College does not help at all in it. In most cases they be an intern for free.

Placement Experience :

This year 8 companies rolled in. All of them offered 3.2 lacs approx. Quikr took 2 students for 6 lacs. Trident took 11 for 9 lacs. But there are students who are still not placed.Startups have also visited.

College Events :

A fest is celebrated once in 4 years. But students usually enjoy it every year because IIITM (2kms away approx) has a fest every year and students go there to enjoy.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship for sc/St/obc is present. Rest is hard to get. Loans are easily available to students. Many have taken student loan to finish education.

Campus Life :

Extra curriculars are more than sufficient. Every week there are competitions being organised by students and participated by students. All kinds of sports are played here.

Alumni/Alumna :

No genuine alumni network. Alumni meet occurs in Delhi where hardly 5 to 10 current students go. Some alumni do visit the campus but they give a speech and leave. No genuine networking.

Faculty :

Faculty is good. Like every college there are some knowledgeable teachers and some teachers who are inefficient. There are a few who are very helpful but there are many who wouldn't help. But everyone teaches as per their job is concerned. There are classes being conducted regularly and 75% attendance is ought to be compulsory as per rules.

LNCT College you should apply or not

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in our college as the highest package grabbed by our senior was 1.15 cr this year through Amazon eu. The percentage of students getting placement are around 80%. My plans are to grab campus placement.

from 5 semesters students become eligible for campus placements. companies like TCS and Infosys etc visited to campus. when we talk about the highest package it is app. 12lakh per annum and the average package is app. 3 lakh per annum. percentage of students above 50 or depending on company criteria.

Sum up all learned things to the astonishing work

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite good in Jabalpur Engineering College. Students are eligible and can avail campus placement from their 7th semester onwards. There are some companies i would like to mention , TCS, Reliance Jio, IBM, Wipro, Collabera, TrueChip, Cognizant and some others. Some of them came for mass selection of students with good knowledge of their companies. The highest salary package of companies co.e in JEC are 7-8 LPA. The average salary packages are provided by companies is 3-5 LPA. Chances of getting selected in the campus placement are depends upon the students Strong hold on the subject and their course. So basically the chances of getting selected is around 30-40% . Students usually tend to have many dram after getting selected in campus placement. As per my plan, after getting a degree i will prone to learn new technology and present myself a position where i can give my all conceptual knowledge earned from College period and convert into practical knowledge.

My college

Remarks:

If college will improvise the college placement ratio than that would be very helpful for all the students studying there.

Admission:

I have 60% above percentage in my 12th class so I was eligible to get admission in that college. The college is closer to my home also that's why I opted for that college. They took photocopy of all valid documents and first instalment of fee. they have there own bus facility and hostel as well which is suitable to all.
