Remarks :

Overall experience about the college infrastructure accommodation food is wonderful. You will have many extracurricular activities held in the college. You will have industrial visit often so that you can know things better.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The couse will be held in such a way that you will be ready for the current industry. It means the concepts which are booming in the industry will be made as a subject for you and they will train you and make you to practice concepts practically so that you understand them and learn clearly

Placement Experience :

There is a seperate section for placement in the college. The placement is good they do have many links but in IT industry they don't have much links but for other courses they have enormous links and they have placed almost all the other department students, but now as it's a pandemic we are waiting for out turn.

College Events :

Many events will be conducted in the college every week you can expect an event where everyone will be called for audition first and they proceed the selection further for the next levels. But it's a wonderful experience you would find and a chance will be given for each and everyone who is interested to participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It depends on the course which you opt for. For my course it's same in the other colleges too but comparitively it's expensive but it worths for the brand mount Carmel. If you are financially unstable you can seek permission from principal to pay the fees in installments.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yea I had a applied for scholarship in college through the college portal by submitting your caste and income certificate once it is verified you will get the scholarship. The other way of getting scholarship from government is if you are a localities who studied in Karnataka from initial stage then you can apply epass scholarship.

Campus Life :

As mount Carmel college is girls college there is no gender discrimination found here. When ever fests take place even men are allowed to enter and Participate in the events equally to women. It's the best place to showcase their talents because many events of students will take palce here. one of the best event is culah which will be held every year with a unique concept and theme.

Hostel Facilities :

No I dint opt for the hostel. But I see few people who reside in college where they have seperate rules and they are provided with a good accommodation and other facilities. Food will be hygiene and they will be provided with medical facilities too.

Alumni/Alumna :

We meet and make a network with our seniors so that it will help us a lot and it will be a very wonderful experience if you work along with them in future hopefully.

Admission :

So basically to enter in to mount Carmel college you need to give an entrance exam for post graduation which will be held by Karnataka Government every year. So if you succeed in getting the good ranking in pgcet if you are a localitie then you will be eligible to get the seat in the college else you have to write kmat exam where both localities and non localities can write this and get seat in this college for MCA.

Faculty :

Each and every lecturer is a pro over here. They have helped us a lot to achieve our goals it might be in academic or something else, they help in every situation. Many experienced teachers are here with enormous knowledge and they will treat you like friends and they never hesitate to clear doubts at any moment.

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. There are a lot of companies like Cerner, Capgameni, Microsoft are visited in college. They offer 15-20 lakhs per annum. The highest package is going to 22 lakhs and the average package is 3-4 lakhs per annum. At least 90% got placed. My plan after getting a degree is to get placed in a good company.
