Remarks :
Though it was the government institutions. it provides less fund every was the favour of staff. College name was popular on those days but now it was not. There is less placement. less faculty. everything was average.
Course Curriculum Overview :
May be it's good. it has short of staff. collegewise ok. but the government need not provide the proper fund to the college. college lab standard was very low. when compared to other private engineering colleges. it need more improvement. I am the computer science student. in my lab it doesn't have the proper lab faculty. it will have more repairs computer. more students share the same computer. their is no proper lab faculty in the colleges. it doesn't have good lab faculty. it does not have the proper air conditioning. it have more repair AC air conditioner.
Placement Experience :
Very Low placement. last year only around 20 got placed. need improvement for placement shell. they just want to upgrade the college for better placement. there is no proper coaching for the placement.
College Events :
Sports day, culturals, pongal festival another government programs, staff day, independent day republic day, all government festival day, Rotaract club, club events every week. it was a government college they collect the fund from the students to organise the function so grand.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Though it was the govermoment college it has low fees structure. it was the main reason. but the low fees low infrastructure it was the opt reason for the low fees structure. it was around 40, 000 including the college Freda nd the hostel fees with the food and accommodation.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Ye, every year we applied for the scholarship through the college. they provide the college government scholarship. they provide the scholarship according to their caste. they limit the scholarship amount according to caste. I was a middle class family I applied for the loan from the bank.
Campus Life :
In our their is no caste problem and there was equal ratio of girls and boys. I think in our college their is no proper funding for the extra curricular activities. In our college lab are very low standards and not maintained properly. There is no internet faculty in the colleges. One good thing was there is no politics that was the good things in our college.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, I was in the hostel. there is no proper maintenance. there is no wifi faculty. there is no cleaning faculty. hostel building was very old. in every room there was lot of students were enrolled in the room. so their was enough space for the reading and writing. it faculty was very conjust. bathroom maintenance was very bad.
Alumni/Alumna :
In our college there is less alumni support. All the alumni are provide fund for the college improvement not the college students. if some alumni support was given to high knowledgeable person not for the below average students.
Admission :
TNEA admission, good government college with low fees is first things I just choose the college and it has a good name in late 19's. 50 years back in tamilnadu there are few engineering colleges, there are few engineering students studied in a good engineering college. It was the best colleges in tamilnadu. nowadays it has lot of engineering College and standard of the colleges were low. but only the good standard college of my college name. were attracted to join the colleges. when I was in the counselling. it has the students were more willing to join the colleges that tha main reason I joined the college.
Faculty :
20 staff, 28 to above, and technical government staff. faculty are ok. but they are few permanent staff. actually this is a government college. this college need a more staff. Some of the staff in colleges are good. they are aplied for the transfer to get tranfer to other colleges near their native area.
