Remarks :

The placement cell needs to be better formed and regulated.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum deals with basic knowledge of the subject included under management and business administration fuctions such as accounts, marketing, human resources, financing, strategic management, research and data analysis, all extremely well tailored to cater towards the current industry's demand and the college has ended up forming a very widespread alumni network with some alumni involved with the UN, the WHO, the RCB, and other prestigious organizations.

Placement Experience :

Roche, MacLeod Pharma, GSK, Fortis Hospital, Medanta Hospital, SmartAnalyst, etc. Yes, various guest lectures and placement drives are organized in order to aid students in getting campus placements. Almost 80% of the students end up getting placed with an average CTC of 4. 5-5. 5 l. p. a.

College Events :

Jashn-e-Adab, Culture Fest, Debates, Guest Lectures. The department also has well established societies for music, dance and other extra curriculars. There is special focus laid on debates and group discussion activities and presentation skills to prepare the students for the industry.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The program fee in total is 4. 5 lacs for 2 years, payable by DD or NEFT transfer. Averages to 1. 3 lacs for the first two semesters and 1. 15 lacs for the last two semesters. No additional fee was demanded for admission. Yes, the college provides transparency in the fee breakdown.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, but the scholarships are only for needy students. There are various scholarships that are provided by the government which apply to Jamia Hamdard.

Campus Life :

The gender ratio is apt, my course actually has more girls enrolled. The campus is beautiful, large, green and plastic free. There are 4 canteens in the campus with good quality food, a sports ground with dedicated cricket, basketball, vollyball, lawn tennis and badminton courts as well as a gymnasium and a swimming pool. The student pool is very diverse with students from various religions and cultural backgrounds enrolled in the college, various international students are also enrolled and they have never complained about any mistreatment or hostility. The culture is very home-like and people are humble, excessive fanciness or vulgarity is checked by proctors.

Hostel Facilities :

Not opted for hostels. 2-3 roommates per room, only girls and international student hostels available. Food is good. Average PG rents range from 6500-7500 per month, the facilities are good for the price being charged.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, the alumni network is very extensive and widespread all over the industry. They are very cooperative and helpful, provide continuous support and guidance to the students who reach out. One of our alumnus, Dr. Anisur Rahman, who has also been associated with the WHO, has been very kind to help me make a decision between healthcare or hospital management specializations and had been a very knowledgeable mentor.

Admission :

I opted for this course because a Masters in Business Administration degree with healthcare specialization will one day help me to become a part of various organizations in the field of public health and welfare thereby giving me a chance to change the world. I chose this college because of its countrywide reputation, rich culture, good facility members, lesser fees for the same course as compared to other institutions, its location and its alumni network.

Faculty :

All the faculty members are aged between 30-60 years, and mostly have PhDs. They take an average of 25-30 lectures per semester, giving four hours to each subject per week in total of 8 subjects. 9/10 of the faculty members are experts in their respective subjects with the required qualifications as well as a rich industry experience.

Placement Experience:

The placements of IIFT DELHI are at par with some of the old IIM's like Lucknow, Indore, Kozhikode. Iift is beast when it comes to finance and marketing. Every major international bank and every hedge fund visit the campus for recruitment. Also IIFT caters to some trade companies that only recruit from this college and don't visit any other campus in India. Last year 102 companies visited the campus , the median package was around 26 lakhs and average was around 27 lakhs. Highest package stood at 85 lakhs. And 100 percent placement was achieved. I'll be most probably going for working in a bank or a hedge fund after the degree

Placement Experience:

The Only thing this college is lacking about its placement cells. Students where running the placement cell and some teacher assist them to get opportunities based on their personal connections. But they don't have any particular department which is responsible for providing placement assistance.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for final placements in third semester and summer placements in the first semester itself. We have many big names here in the campus JP Morgan Chase and Co, Morgan Stanley, AON, ICICI Bank, Atomberg, Hindalco, Deloitte, KPIT, Samsung, etc. Almost all the students get placed here. I'd the percentage is above 90. The highest placement offered was 26LAC+ and the average stood at 14lacs. I am currently intern at a company via the college placements and am working towards getting a PPO. If I get one, I plan on staying in the same company.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are great at FMS Delhi. Almost all good companies visit the campus for recruitment. In the very first semester, companies visit for the summer placement process where the average stipend this year was 1.5 lakh/per month and the highest stipend was 2.2 lakhs per month. Also, there are final placements conducted where the median package is around 30 lakhs per annum and the highest package goes above 60 lakhs per annum. Talking about the percentage of placements, all the students are placed in the companies visiting the campus and the placement record is 100% till now.
