Remarks :

The college is not very good if you want all the facilities but for textile students its quite a good college with fair exposure rest of the branches are not that good at all.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Analog & digital electronics data structure & algorithm computer organisation, numerical methods, formal language & automata, theory object oriented programming & UML data base management systemDSP, computer graphics, object oriented programming computer architechtureInternet technology multimedia.

Internships Opportunities :

If someone want an internship this college is a perfect no a few companies come for on campusing for the final year students but no scope of internship here.

Placement Experience :

On year 2012 three companies came for placement for B.Tech (Information Technology). Infosys, Capgemini and Yottolabs. Infosys hired some 16 students Capgemini hired 10 students and Yottolabs 4 students. Among those Yottolabs is thug company which duped the students after placements. I was one of them selected among those students. This company dint pay us 3 months salary after we moved to Bangalore.

College Events :

This college had the centenary event on 2012 and every year there is the cultural festival of texavision. Other than this there are farewell and freshers welcome held simultaneously every year while the final year batch leave and new batch come.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

As this is a government educational institution so the fee is not at all expensive. The fee structure is quite bearable for most socio-economic class. The fee for each semester varies from 500-2000 according to the course.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are some scholarships given to the students of certain financial background and talent and college helps students in availing some other scholarships from other institutions also.

There is no hostel for girls the boys hostel have limited accommodation. The college canteen food also have very few and limited choices.

There is an alumni meet every year at the time of cultural event texavision. Textile alumni network have a strong bond among the rest of the senior students.

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.
