Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is designed in such a way that research and analysis are given a priority. The 2 year course structure gives a detailed analysis of all the things. The days when practicals were there were kind of a bit hectic.

Placement Experience :

The placement and job opportunities are there. Many private companies and NGO's visit the college recruit the students. The highest placement package is that of around Rs 20 Lakhs per annum. Internships are there too.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

There is no such information of fees structure given either by the college website or by any other website. No information regarding any course is available online and even their own website does not provide any such information.

Campus Life :

The extracurricular activities are really good in the college. Many industry visits, guest lectures, workshops and seminars are conducted for the students. There are various student clubs and activities organized too.

Admission :

The admission to the phd programme is based on an entrance test. Candidates must have cleared a NET exam of UGC/DBT/ICAR Test. Any of the exams are cleared then candidates can appear for the interview.

Faculty :

The faculty of the college is highly trained and efficient in the work they do. They are always enthusiastic when it comes to teaching us. One does not have to hesitate for anything and the sessions are interesting too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

if you have good command in your subject and basics then you will easily clear the exam. paper is set from the given syllabus and easy to understand. one more thing you have to strong research methodology which is a common topic for all. exam duration is 1 hour and you have to solve 10 question.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students get chances for campus placement. Some biotechnology companies and pharmaceutical companies come to the university for campus placement. 5-10 lakhs per annum is the amount offered by the companies.70-80% of students get placements after or even during the course. I plan to become an assistant professor after doing a PhD.

good memories with IITM

Remarks:

the college has a good name and reputation among the city and also the students, it provides good and comfortable facilities to all the students within not heavy charge, the staff of teaching is very cooperative and wonderful too.

Admission:

my preference was always to do higher studies, the process was, i filled an application form after submitting it, the test and the interview dates were released after which in the basis of my performance i got selected.

Indian Institute of Soil Science is a premier research institute in Soil science. The wish to enroll for the PhD program must have completed post graduation with atleast 50 percent marks. Then they will have to apply for the program and they will be selected on the basis of entrance and interview.

Placement Experience:

The institution provides with the best education and well equipped labs to the students. There are internships opportunities available to them to enhance their Knowledge. Various students opt for higher studies and many of them also find placement.
