Course Curriculum Overview :
The acting course is carefully planned to provide us all the necessary training of all aspects. Such as, observation, imagination, movement, speech and also body language. At the last week of this course, we are given the oppurtunity to actually be in front of the professional camera and show what we have learnt so far.
Placement Experience :
The companies that comes to hire us are big shots in the media industry. Like Star Plus, Zee Tv and even Ramoji Film City is interested in hiring students from ZIMA. Several workshops are planned and conducted to fine tune us in a professional way.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee I paid for Certification in Acting program is around Rs.1,35,000. The course duration is 6 months and we have three classes per week, each scheduled for 3 hours each. The exposure they give is not possible by any other film school and hence, this fee is feasible.
Campus Life :
Every month we conduct an event named, "Master Mantra" for which a guest, who is an expert in the field is invited. A movie is screened and after when it gets over, open forum discussion takes place. The guest gives us a perspective of the technical approach and their experience. This is one of the interesting and motivating events of our college.
Alumni/Alumna :
Our alumni are placed in several leading media channels and radio stations. Some are directing films by their own and a close senior of mine is working with a leading director as a character artist. The oppurtunities are enormous and our seniors are the perfect example of it.
Admission :
Though I have a bachelor's degree in commerce, I was and am always inclined towards acting. When I came to know about the Certification course offered by ZIMA, I have applied for it. The application could be submitted directly in the college.
Faculty :
Faculties provide us an comfortable environment for us to learn the fine details of becoming an actor. They never hesitate to teach us the skills for the betterment of the actor in us. Also, their approach toward us is very impressive and motivating.
