Course Curriculum Overview :

I passed out from the College 2 years ago, and back then, they offered a bachelor's as well as a master's in technology along with the research programs. The College keeps on adding various research programs to their list so you may check their website for updates. I did a B.tech from BIRSA, and at that time, the curriculum was up to date, and it was beautifully divided into four years and eight semesters in such a manner that we were able to cope up with it quickly and it didn't feel like a burden.

Placement Experience :

The College provides excellent opportunities to students, and you must be ensured that once you complete your course there, you will get the chance to work with some of the best companies like CESC Limited, Genpact, ABC Business Solutions, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd., HCL Info System, IBM, Honda, Tata Steel, Vedanta, Ericsson India Pvt. Ltd. & TCS. Not only do the companies provide you a good job profile, but the packages offered are lucrative too. I got placed into Wipro with an initial package of 10LPA, and I am highly satisfied with that.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

In my opinion, BIRSA is one of the least expensive engineering colleges in the entire country. When I was a student, at that time, the fee for my course i.e., B.Tech, was around Rs66,000 all-inclusive. And, in my opinion, it is highly reasonable because engineering is a course which ie, pursued by the majority and private colleges take advantage of this by increasing their fees unnecessarily. BIRSA, on the other hand, believes in keeping the fees reasonable, so that the majority can afford quality education.

Campus Life :

The College has essential sports equipment and play areas. Other than this, they ensure that the holistic development of the student is taking place, and they do this by promoting extracurricular activities in the College. The College also believes in harmony among the students and, thus, a strict policy against bullying, ragging, and discrimination.

Alumni/Alumna :

Since I am a senior now, I ensure that I am following what they taught me and treating my juniors the way I was treated by them. The seniors at our College are very friendly, and I can say this because I have been both a junior and a senior. I still remember, a few years back, when I got admission to the College, it was the seniors who helped me with orientation and were always available for giving us probably the best career guidance.

Admission :

If you are willing to pursue B.Tech from the BIRSA Institute of Technology, you will have to appear for an examination conducted by the JCECE Board of Jharkhand. On the other hand, if you already have a bachelor's degree and want to pursue a master's in technology you need to clear a written test along with a personal interview, also you need to submit your GATE score. In addition to this, there is a long list of research programs offered by the College, and the admission procedure of them is the same as that of M.Tech.

Faculty :

The learning you receive depends on the way you are being taught. If the faculty is experienced and qualified, then you might end up enjoying what is being taught. I can say this because I experienced this during my time at BIRSA. The faculty wash highly qualified with years of experience that we, as students, loved attending their lectures because they were so interactive and engaging. They also ensured that we all were feeling comfortable in the class, and if we had any doubts, they were always there to help us out.

100% placement assistance is provided to the students and after in the term of placement of the students university is too good at it. And they focus each and every students for the placement drive and after all it's totally depends upon the student whether they want to opt in for the placement drive or they want to opt out for the placement drive due to higher studies and starting or managing their own business.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good considering the fees which is charged by XISS. The overall ROI is great and most of the big MNCs and organisations come for the college placements. It completely depends on the individual how he/she cracks the interview. College gives everyone the opportunity to sit for the placement process

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students get eligible for placements. I guess around more than 50+ companies visit the campus. The highest package is always around 20+ lakhs and on average you can consider 12 lakhs while the lowest is 8 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed can be said around 95%. My plan is to get a good corporate job and work there as such no fancy plans.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The HR course was quite comprehensive. Lots of subjects were dedicated to different functionalities of HR. Lots of focus on Law, and employee benefits, worker rights and employer responsibility. The course boasts of some of the stalwarts of the industry teaching different courses such as the Professor who teaches compensation is responsible for designing the compensation structure over at HUL. It's very comprehensive, and periodically reviewed to remain relevant to the changing times

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Fate, I just slipped in the name of the college, 'social service'. Never do that mistake. That too if u r experienced, Please do not even see the college website. I chose rural management, funny. 75 students in a class. 6-7 faculty in the department. Half of the faculty doesn't speak proper English. There is a lady called Aditi who is placement coordinator. She cannot speak a word in English. She is the placement coordinator.... just imagine situation of the placement. In the second year of the college, from each department, a placement representative will be selected through election. All the PRs should work under her. That's the horrible part. She is a coordinator but acts like a gangster. U cannot call her with name. In 2020, that too a professional course, u cannot call anybody with name. Same old slave mentality. U should call by mam and sir. She ruined my entire second year because I was a non hindi speaking student. Teaching faculties are well qualified but 1940-50 methodologies

IMS is located in the heart of Capital of Jharkhand Ranchi surrounded by Parks and greenery. College is good. I can give 8 out of 10. It's not like IIMs or other prestigious colleges but it is nice college to explore your inner talent.
