Anil Verma's Review On Sri Rammurty Smarak College Of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly

Course Curriculum Overview :

All four semesters were designed in a manner that it could cover all the aspects of the pharm industry. The 4th semester was dedicated to presentations and Vice Voce. The curriculum was made up to date and well revised

Placement Experience :

The association of the college with big companies help us to get a good placement by the end of our graduations. The maximum package which a student gets is of Rs.12 lakhs. Each year many students are placed in big companies by the placement cell.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The total fees for the both years is Rs.2.39 Lakhs in which the fee for the first year is Rs.1.33 Lakhs and for the second year is 1.06 Lakhs. The fees include the tuition fees which is Rs.99282 for both the years. The fees are inclusive of the registration fees. Compared to the other colleges the fees are feasible.

Campus Life :

The college has a full air-conditioned research laboratory that is equipped with a UV visible spectrophotometer (single beam), Station Dissolution Rete Text Apparatus, High-Speed Vacuum homogenizer and Environmental Chamber, etc. It has the best extracurricular activities

Admission :

I had received good grades in my B.Pharm graduation. There is an entrance test of FATE is another eligibility criteria for the admission my scorecard was a good one. So securing admission was not a tough part for me.

Faculty :

The faculty makes us well prepared about the knowledge of modern analytical techniques for research in formulation development. They make us industry ready by making us understand the various different needs of the customers and the changing diseases. Each faculty is well trained and qualified

I think no doubt, there are very experienced faculties. Most of the faculties are from IITs, NIPER and other reputed college. There are the laboratory facilities are the best. Guest lectures, seminars and conferences are conducted always by the department. I am very thankful and grateful to my faculty members.

Remarks:

Every coin has 2 faces likewise there are positive and negative things. But the negativity doesn’t matter if the positive ratio is high. I choose PSIT just to gain knowledge and to study which I'm getting completely. But yes it is having restrictions too but that is to make us disciplined people.

Department of Pharmaceutics is the first Pharmacy college of India. The department is established in 1932 by Prof. M.L. Schroff. Who is also known as Father of Indian Pharmacy. I cracked GPAT-2013 (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) and secured AIR-186. It was my dream to get admission in M. Pharm at Department of Pharmaceutics, IIT(BHU).

Admission:

Through GPAT score (80%) and Personal Interview(20%), Common merit list was prepared and seats allotted as per the criteria and reservation. Only 30 seats are available. GPAT rank holder up to 200 may get admission (Gen/OBC). for ST/SC it may be up to 500. Now they take entrance examination also just like NIPER.
