Remarks :

It is good for agriculture studies because they are providing good faculty they have completed there m. sc in exellent unicersities like panthnagar university, FRI deemed university etc. Good fields for practicals, polyhouses, greenhouses, horticultural gardens are provided by our college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Practical is very good. Exam is public exam from HNB university in srinagar. In my opinion it is goof for agriculture and foodtech courses. It is also good for b. pharmacy course. It is also called as maya group of colleges Which also offers b. tech, forestry, bussiness and other courses

Placement Experience :

There are good placements from various banks for our college. It provides internship also. But i dont have idea about stipend because i have not completed my graduation. I am studying 2nd year in this college. But our seniors get jobs by placements.

College Events :

There are many programes celebrated in our college. Freshers function, fest, farewell, and functions for occations like independence day, republic day, new year, cristhmas etc But the fest is the main function in which i have enjoyed a lot, because many games are conducted on this function and i got the prizes for badminton tug of war carrom.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

25000 per semester is college fee And for hostel it depends on selcted room and luxary. For even semester 25000 is fee And for odd semester 30000 is college fee because odd semster or 1st semester of that year charges extra 5000 for library, wifi.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scolorships for eligible students are available. Education loans are provided by any government bank for this college. And there is very less intrest for education loan. Students can clear there loan after they get there job.

Campus Life :

Practical labs, fields, nurseries, polyhouse, greenhouses are provided by college. Miltary training, self defence classes, games like basketbal, l cricket, food ball, and badminton are encouraged by our college

Hostel Facilities :

In hostel there are three catogiries 1) single member per room 2) double members per room 3) triple members per room Furniture like beds, racks, and tables are provided. Iron lockers also provided for each person seperately. Chairs also provide. Mess have 3times for a day and snacks at evening.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very friendly with us. And there is no ragging allowed in the campus. Seniors help us to go in good way in our feature. They share there experiances with us about studies and future plans.

Admission :

I didnt get good rank in neet So i dont have chance to get free seat So i paid donation anf joind in this college because this college accepts less donation. I got admission in this college by consultancy group named confido.

Faculty :

Good faculty are provided for all courses. For agriculture courses( for which i am preparing. ) faculty have m. sc from Pantnagar university which is one of the best agriculture university in world and from other good agriculture universities.

Me and my college experiences

Placement Experience:

They provide placement but not related to your course like I am a BSc AG student but they provide me sales job in IT company. Overall they are good in placement. If I told my experience then I don't act for placement I go for higher study because I want to do masters in AG science.

Maya Devi University review

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many courses that are available here.. They offer a variety of courses. Fees are also affordable and lesser than other colleges. I have chosen Bsc hons in Agriculture because they have a very large area for field work. Different types of plants, trees etc are there to make the student learn about it. The agriculture labs, pharmacy labs, btech labs are very well maintained. They teach with the help of books. They also have a central library. They also take projector classes.. Collge reporting time is 9:30 and departure is 4:30. They take 50 minutes of each classes with a mid interval of half an hour for lunch.

I am studying Bsc Agriculture. Nowadays Bsc agriculture is good for job searchings and good for future conditions. The faculty is good in my college. One every subject has one teacher and teachers provide good knowledge to the students and provide practical knowledge. I will give 8 out of 10 for the teaching skills of my teachers. every teacher in my college Is a Ph.D. scholar. Their teaching skills are good. There are two semesters in a year. My college conducted two times mid exams. About the semester exams and pass percentages are quite good in my college.

I belong to an Agriculture family so I choose the Agriculture course. The faculty is too good, knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive. and different types of faculty are available for the subject. The student ratio is good and they are helping nature. All the faculties are Ph.D. holders and fully qualified and their teaching method is good and completely knowledgeable and they teach in an easy way. Exams are done semester-wise, and some subjects are hard to pass but after attending regular class it's easy to pass.

It is one of the best emerging engineering college in Roorkee

Admission:

There is no entrance exam for this course. The admission process is very easy. You can take admission in the month of May to July. The minimum qualification required to apply for the B.Sc Bachelor of Agriculture is 50-60% in 10+2 with Science (Maths or Biology) from a recognized college. There is no entrance exam, the admission is taken on merit of 10+2. the cutoff is 60 % in 10+2.

Placement Experience:

The students got knowledge in classrooms along with their internship provided by the college with various organizations related to agriculture and the visits of the students to different places related to their course work like FRI, Patanjali Research center and herbal garden, KVKs and many more, help students to enhance their knowledge in various fields.
