If you have the feeling or you want to join hotel industry then only you should opt this course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The learning is done by both practically or theoretically first four hours is for practical and and last 3 hours is for practical. I opted this course for joining hotel industry in future as a chef. This course is very interesting. Most of the work is practical. For studying in my college you need to fill the form of NCHMCT online for the entrance exam test.

Placement Experience :

The placement of the college is 100%. Everyone will get placed who has scored good marks without any Compartment in the any of the subjects. Interview are held for the placement

College Events :

Every festival is celebrated. Food fest in the rose garden where duties are given to the students which increases their experience. Annual day, freshers, farewell are celebrating with full enthusiasm. Many competition are held during these events. All students can participate in different events.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

College fee for first semester is around 55000 and hostel fee is 23000 and for total this degree will cost you around 6-7 lakh payment are accepted by cash or by bank transfer. There will b no extra fee or charges to be paid in future in order to secure the course.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No. The college do mo offer any scholarship opportunities for the students. You’ve to give the entrance test exam to enter in this college

Campus Life :

The campus of the college is small because it has only one department and the ratio of the gender is 3:1 where their are 600 students in which 400 are males and rest are females.Most of the work is practical. For studying in my college you need to fill the form of NCHMCT online for the entrance exam test.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes. Hostels are given to the students according to their rank. It has a capacity of 100 students. One room has 3 bed separated with one common room. It has badminton court and table tennis. Food is good and unlimited for the students.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

The seniors of the college are very helpful to us they tell us about the course make our interest.

Admission :

I got admission by giving entrance exam which was named NCHMCT JEE i opted this course for joining hotel industry in future as a chef. This course is very interesting. Most of the work is practical. For studying in my college you need to fill the form of NCHMCT online for the entrance exam test.

Faculty :

The faculty of this college is very professionalised and well experienced there are 3 lectures everyday and 4 hours practical from Monday to Friday. Their are average 6-7 subjects in each semester and it has 6 semester in all and after that you’ll get the degree.

IHM Chandigarh (worth to join)

Placement Experience:

The campus placements starts in the 5th semester . The companies coming for the placements are - ITC Hotels, Taj, Hyatt, Oberoi, Hilton, Marriott, Accor, Haldirams, Bikanerwala, Praxis, Puma, Bira, CCD, etc. The average and highest pacakge is 3lpa and 4lpa respectively.

My First Home away from Home, AIHM Chandigarh

Placement Experience:

college campus placement drive begins in month of october each year and 3rd year students are eligible to appear for campus placements. a lot of comapnies visited the campus, to name a few like taj, oberois, hyatt, ihg, reliance retails etc. min 80% of students who appreared for campus placements got atleast one offer letter. reliance is the mass recruiter of the college who hires candidates for luxury retails. i joined reliance retail after the college but left after 11 months due to unfavourable circumstances. then i started studying again for my masters

College views and students life

Placement Experience:

From the 4 semester the students are eligible for the campus placements and the companies who have visited recently are the Oberoi hotels the Hyatt residence the jio and the highest and the average packages which are offered by the company are around starting from 15000 and it can be gone to 30002 and the highest is around 66002 70000 it can be 80000 the percentage of getting placement for the students are around 70% of students and my plans after getting the degree was to settle in abroad to clear the masters for the general manager in hotel industry

Review of one of the best IHM from the perspective of an ex aihmite

Placement Experience:

In my 3 years from 5 semesters I become eligible for campus interviews, yes many companies come and also almost everyone got a job but the problem is there is no one to stop those who sit on every campus even they have a job. Many students were like even they have 4 jobs they going to many new campuses also. The average package is around 3 to 4.5 lakhs per annum and the maximum of the 5 star hotels and food outlets kike dominos have come for placement. They provide for manager level and also for supervisor level jobs. Yes, percentage of placements is good around 85 percent and the rest were who wants to study further or company rejects them. My plan is to again look for a job as because of corona my previous placement got cancelled.

Remarks:

Well lot of positive are there. One draw back is that the girls are not allowed out of college campus after 7 pm and boys after 9. After 9 you're not allowed to go outside the hostel unless you have permission of warden or in case of emergency. The hostel rules are to be followed by everyone strictly.

It was the best 3 years of my life

Remarks:

The college boasts of its premium location being at the heart of the tricity i.e. Mohali, chandigarh and zirakpur. Just opposite to our college campus new lake sec - 42 which itself a tourist hub is there, and adjacent to it two more colleges are there. Hostel is as secured as fort knox (so girls u can relax and parents too) and the city is affordable too.
