Remarks :
Overall it very good College apart form this VNIT is top College in the NAGPUR. Other than one can select YCC college that is also good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Normal Industrial engineering curriculum is kind of pratical approach rather than just theory. 1 it cover all the basic subject from all the branch. 2 we could get some basic IT knowledge. 3 we could get some Finance knowledge. 4 we can get good core subject knowledge on 6 sixgma, lean, OR and Simulation. Industrial engineering subject are not heavy on your mind its all about the common sense that we teach in the class and become good in logical solution finding.
Placement Experience :
In our time College was Having Having 90 percent placement. But i thing know it went very low in terms of placements. Placement cell do provide various of internship in all domain. But they are fail to bring good core companies in the campus for industrial, Mech and even Civil. They are providing good placement in IT firms.
College Events :
In our College one could develop there personality by participating in my such events. WAD, Branch installation Nss Music club There are many type of club in the college which will enable you to become more from your current self. Teaches team work, entrepreneurship, time management, creativity, upgrading your hobbies like dance, photography and art work.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee Structure is like same in other colleges. I was paying to college around 1.1 lac per annum. That means around 4.4 lac i have spend on the college fees. I think normal engineering fees today is same near about. Now you can pay thur cash/DD/cheque/card payment at campus account section. Additional fee they take safety deposit in first year one time. Additional if you opt for hostel and mess.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I didn't opt for any scholarships or loan. General who have taken addmission from management round aren't allowed for scholarship program. But you can get education loan easy for this college as it is one of the top college in Nagpur.
Campus Life :
Gender ratio is quite good i dont remember the number but it's okay. One will find all type of caste religion but majority are marwadis and hindu in the college. All type of economic class family you will see here. all are treated in the same ways no nepotism or racism. No ragging in the college as the management are very strict about it.
Hostel Facilities :
No i was staying at my own place. But near by PG are very cheap and affordable to. Around 3000 rupee you could get basic PG. Or you can go for better flat system were you would have better facilities.
Alumni/Alumna :
Senior are helpful but one to start interact with them. They will guide you on the placement and current job opportunities.
Admission :
I have choose this college as it is in the top best College in nagpur. 1. In top college list. 2. Campus is good. 3. Fees is normal like in other colleges 4. Most of the Teachings staff are very knowledge. Why i choose industrial my typical answer at the time of selecting this branch is i didn't got seat in mechanical so i select for same type of branch thus Industrial engg.
Faculty :
Many are of the teacher have PHd or even gold medalist. Staff are mix some of the teacher were below avg also. Some are very good in there subject (SME). They have 1 subjeçt teacher for per subject which they should increase staff or training other teacher of other subject also.
