Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum and exam structure were well designed. Covered all the aspects of the technology. Basic concept as well as the advanced technology were covered in the session. Also the curriculum gave us industry-specific knowledge and some industrial visits by the college to gain the knowledge which was required to run in to industry.

Placement Experience :

There is 100% placement in my college. Around 2000 companies come for placement. We have special classes to prepare us for placement.

College Events :

Technical event Aarush, Cultural Event Milan the two great events of my college. Both annually has foot fall of nearly 2 lacs. Technical event had robot Wars design competition and various other technical event. Cultural Event had many shows with involved talents like singing dancing acting fashion modelling other stuff.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

My annual fees was 3 lacs per annum. Mode of payment was DD. There was no other additional fees. Yes the college provided transparency in the fee breakdown. That was expensive as compared to other colleges but in India Private colleges with big infrastructure has the same fees structure.

Gender ratio in the college was almost 40-60. There was a cultural diversity in my college as they were people from all part of the country. People from various background HD part of college no matter whether they are rich or poor or there from any religion

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors are very helpful in the college also the college has an alumni network on which they are constant suggestions

I got admission to SRM joint entrance examination. Counselling on my rank I chose Automobile engineering. This institution had good placement records also the labs were good. The faculty of automobile engineering where best in the town. Steps of admission procedure are entrance exam and counselling.

There where almost 50 lecturers my department. Average age of the lecturers was 30 years and they all were M tech. There were few PHd holders as well. They have good knowledge of the subject. Most of them had good industry experience. The HOD had many industrial contacts.

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
