Remarks :
Overall the college is very good but with some positive points negative points also come. There are some negative points like parking problems, no wifi in college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course provided by the college was fair enough. Everything was well managed. May workshops took place in my academic career regarding jobs in different sectors. Curriculum was groom to provide industry specific knowledge. IT sector students were sometimes taken to different industries also.
Placement Experience :
There is a different cell or office for this department named as placement cell which clears all the doubts of students regarding placements in different companies. Every year different companies came like LIC, Infosys etc.
College Events :
We have major 3 fests in the college throughout the whole academic year, named as ifest, concours and synapse. I-fest is our technical festival. Concurs is our sports festival. Synapse is our major cultural festival and biggest fest of the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
One semester fees for my course is almost 10000. Payment could be done in any sampark centre of chandigarh. Their are additional fees for hostel. But their are no extra charges to pay to secure and admission to the course. College provide full transparency in fee breakdown.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are many type of scholarships in the college. But I know about two or three of them properly, I guess. 1st is Merit scholarship, in which top 5 students according to JEE Mains all india get the tuition fee wavier. 2nd is Merit-cum-means scholarship, in which top 5 students according to all india rank and family income get the tuition fee wavier.
Campus Life :
There are lots of extracurricular activities in the college. Like, there are frequent music club events, drama club events, dance club events in the college. Sports competitions are also held throughout the whole year also.
Hostel Facilities :
No I havenot opted for hostel as I was local guy. But I can surely tell hostel rooms were very good in condition. There were two or three students in one room as rooms were very spacious. PG's nearby are also affordable with a good locality.
Alumni/Alumna :
College seniors were very helpful. No ragging was done in the college. Juniors were treated very well. Seniors were always willing to help the juniors in their works.
Admission :
After the result of 12th Admission process starts in the college and admission into my stream is based truly on the percentage you have got in the 12th class. There will be different rounds and you will be called according to the marks. So cleary person having more marks are preferred
Faculty :
Faculty of college is truly praiseworthy. Everyone does their job with great hardwork whether it is teacher or office workers. Every lecturer strictly follows the timetable and is very punctual about the attendance. Weekly tests are also organised by the teachers.
