Entrance Preview :

After completion of HSC I had option of either going for Engineering or Pharmacy. I chose B. Pharmacy especially because of personal interest and scope of opportunities in future. B. Pharmacy course actually opens options for three future streams - Pharmaceutical Sales & marketing, Pharmaceutical R&D and Pharmaceutical Production unit jobs. Considering the growth in healthcare domain in India, I decided to opt for Pharmaceutical Sciences career.

Internships Opportunities :

This option is not applicable for B. Pharmacy course. At the time of completion of course we were expected to take 45 days training in any production unit. The said training was unpaid and no stipend was paid.

Placement Experience :

The job opportunities are fairly good depending upon the skillsets you acquire. When I completed the course, as the college was very new, there was no trend of campus interview and unfortunately there was no placement cell to assist students in getting jobs. However, the same initiative has been started recently and I have seen several Pharmaceutical companies visit for campus interview especially in field of production or sales & marketing. The companies like Cipla, Ranbaxy, Sun Pharma have been frequently arranging campus interviews.

College Events :

The college was culturally very sound especially in extra curricular activities. I am giving some of the examples below. Traditional dress competition, Sports week, Valentine's day, teachers' day, The Science Day, Send off for finial year batch, Cultural week.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college had no scholarship or loan facility in earlier times. The nationalised banks however offer suitable loan to students helping them with financial needs.

Campus Life :

The college life was really brilliant and was known to invest in modernisation of college. The college had heavily invested in library and laboratories. The best of the college was neutral political stand. The college was absolutely untouched from any external politics. The facility was dedicated only for education and bringing real educational value for the students.

Alumni/Alumna :

The Alumni experience is not really that great and I must say this remains a grey area for the college. I am sure a lot can be done to keep past students engaged with the college and this will also benefit future students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Really had a positive vibe coming from the faculty members of the college when I first entered the college. I really like all of the teachers. They all are very friendly towards me and they always solve problems. The extracurricular activities at our college include research centers for all of the students so that they can gain some extra credit. There is also The positive thing about my course should be the availability of outreach programs for the students. There are seminars and conferences. Several personality development programs are available for the students so that they can gain good employment opportunities. My course of bachelor's of pharmacy is very well prepared by the management system. Also, the course is approved by the pharmacy council of India New Delhi and also the All India council of technical education New Delhi. I really like the course curriculum because it is not very difficult and it does not give me stress at all. All the curriculum is updated regularly by the university.

Placement Experience:

Rank holders in the institute, receives a priority when it comes to internships and job opportunities. Attendance is very much needed to survive in this institute and it's very important to note down all the notes and details given by the faculty members.
