Entrance Preview :
MA Mass Communication entrance, AIR 12It's said to be the best college in the country for this particular course. Other colleges don't give you a degree, just a Diploma.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship wasn't really a part of the course, but placements happened and I was also placed with a media giant at a decent CTC of 6.5Lac PA. ZEE, Star, Viacom, Prime Focus Technologies and various Ad and PR firms come every year for placements.
Placement Experience :
The job opportunities are very wide and varied. From photography to radio jockeying to tv production to copywriting, scripting, camera work, sound engineering. The course is a stepping stone for many creative career possibilities.
College Events :
The college is very conservative about investing time in celebration of events. Once in a while, the student body can put together a photography exhibition or a street play (a part of the course module).
Fees and Financial Aid :
No, didn't apply for loans of scholarships but i am sure the college gives merit based subsidies or atleast such conversations were happening two years back.
Alumni/Alumna :
Very strong alumni network if one chooses to look them up. Illustrious almunis all over the film and tv industry sometimes help students passing out but not with faculty reference.
Exam Structure :
Exams happen twice a year as the college follows a semester system. Exams are exhaustive and cover most of the course material. there are practicals as well as theory exams.
