Remarks :

For the college management I would like to review as below:Good: Management was very supportive with placement and job opportunities. Many events were organized with the help of management.Bad: Management could have been more supportive at festive season such as EID/DIWALI to provide a bit longer vacation as students have to travel long distances.

Entrance Preview :

AMU Entrance for Engineering. I took CS for B.Tech as first choice and got the same. I chose the same out of my interest in the field. Admission is dependent on written test, once the list is out students will be asked to come for documentation process.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course of B.Tech Computer Science is comprised of different computer languages (e.g. C, C++, Java, MySQL etc). Along with this there are different subjects taught during the course such as Advanced Mathematics, English, Thermodynamics, Mechanics etc.

Internships Opportunities :

In our college, companies directly came for final placement and internship was on student to decide. However all the cooperation and help was provided to do the internship.

Placement Experience :

Placement and Job opportunities are good at the college. Many companies such as Accenture, TCS, Adobe, Wipro, ONGC etc, etc.Service based companies offered approx 3.2 LPA package. However product based (Adobe, muIgma etc) offered on average 6-7 LPA.Out of 350 Engineering students at least 300 were placed in different different companies either On Campus or with the help of college at off campus.

College Events :

There were many events celebrated within college. These events are categorized as Festive: Eid Milan, Diwali Carckers at University level.Engineering Freshers and Farewell at college level.Olympiad as well including quizzes, sport activities and different stage plays.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Being a Central University and with Minority institution I would not hesitate to say that Fee was on a very lower side. For a student without any scholarship Semester fee was approx 2000 Rs. Examination fee was Rs. 200.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There were scholarships program in the college but I did not avail any. Also no education loan was taken by me.

Campus Life :

Campus life was awesome. Gender ratio in B.Tech was on a lower side. approx 3:1 being boys on higher side. There were many sports and cultural events and all went very good. I cant see any such intolerance with race, religion, gender or any status.

Hostel Facilities :

I was a local student in the college so I stayed at home. However I visited frequently to Hostel as friends were over there. Hostel was either 2 bed or 3 bed and were in clean state.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, I had interactions with seniors. They were very helpful on the project issues and letting us know to resolve issues with coding (Being a Computer branch student). They always provided relevant support in every field be it academics or festival events.

Exam Structure :

During a semester there were 2 MID sem exams 25 Marks each and top scoring test will be counted for final consolidation with 60 marks full exam.If the course comprises of Lab then 15 Marks will be counted from there, if not then 15 Marks are based on assignment given by faculty.I would give it as neither chilled out nor hectic. It was perfectly balanced.

Faculty :

Faculty was very supportive and knowledgeable. I would rate the departmental facilities as 8/10. Faculty as 9/10. College Environment also as 8/10 for students.

Placement Experience:

The placement is very good in my college. From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra etc do visit my college. The highest package is 16 lacs per annum and the average package is 4 lacs per annum. 95 % of students of the batch get placement every year. My plan is to get a placement in a product-based company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

In this college, there is 100 percent placement of all students. But some students choose to take admission in post-graduation. Post-graduation course is not available in this college due to University policy.
