Course Curriculum Overview :

In first and second semester, we got an overview of business, its environment and management with essential skill and tools necessary for our business life. And advanced modules in the second and the third year, the advanced modules focuses on a closer examination of the operations of business, particularly on the use and management of key resources, such as, finance and IT, people. our course curriculum is well focused on equally divided.

Placement Experience :

There are many companies which comes for campus placement in our college. Our college also hosts job fair. Few of the companies which recuit are Muthoot, ESAF small finance bank, Joyalukas, swiggy, Manappuram, hdfc bank etc. Internships are not provided but we are given on weekly basis.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee of this course is feasible, the course is nearly 20000 rupees with tution fee. For first year the course fee is bit extra with other charges. Fee for transportation, hostel and other events are extra. Fee of the course changes from time to time.

Campus Life :

Our college has so many extra curricular activities for the students and they participate in good number in these. Cyber, seminars, sports championship, seminars, festivals, debates, projects etc are held in our college. Gender ratio of our class is almost equal. We have extra add-on course which we can learn they are like tally, digital marketing, SEO etc.

Alumni/Alumna :

Our college has alumni network but our college do not host much events for alumni. If the college does we will get guidance from them and can focus on career opportunities and goals. Seniors of our college are good and helpful to us.

Admission :

I am doing my BBA from this college. I got admission from this college based on my score in 10+2 examination. I got admission through management quota. After applying online I was called for interview based on my marks and was given admission.

Faculty :

We have 4 faculty in our department. Faculties of our department are good and have experience in teaching the course. They are well qualified to teach the course. They solve our doubhts and are good in teaching the course.

To be honest, I felt out syllabus is outdated. The all business practices we study is very old. Only a few of them are applied in today's world. So our syllabus needs a big change. The teaching methods are very active though.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements as soon as 5th semester starts.The college also keeps any external faculty for ensuring that students are capable enough to pass the aptitude test of the companies. It is part of 5th sem as a non credit course to learn aptitude and pass the exam of aptitude, to pass 5th sem. To be eligible for placements you need to have above 60% together in all of the previous semesters,All big 4 companies come here for placements and the salary package is also good considering freshers, the average is 3 lakh per annum.Other companies include Federal Bank, Godrej etc. The placementcell of Marian College Kuttikkanam is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bba is a better course in today's world. Because of its relevance. It's more extroverted kind course. The communication skills have the prior in business. Our curriculum and course provide so many things to master the business skills. We have the seminars which should be taken by students to improve our communication skills. We got Industrial Visits to know more about business world. Our curriculum is kinda bit outdated though. Business world is changing day by day. But our syllabus is not. So we have a bit crisis. The exams are a bit early. So we face the difficulty to prepare better.

Placement Experience:

Yes , placements are there. Companies like easy link , Accenta etc are there. The highest package was 3 lakh per aanum and average was 2 lakh per aanum. Most of them choose higher studies like MBA so only a few percentage appears for placement. My plan is to get a law degree and to be a corporate lawyer.
