Remarks :
The college is superfine and it has its own dress code to be followed for both girls and boys(not uniform) many other colleges are allowed to dressup like anything like the girls can wear skrits and all but in our college it is restricted.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The syllabus is super fine. In first year you'll have the basic subjects and as you are upgrading your semesters the syllabus is uch advanced and mostly releated your core branch and there will much well equipped laboratories and you can explore your ideas through. The pattern of evalution is as follows: lets consider one subject (It follows same to every subject) they will conduct 3-mid term exams during the exams for 30 marks each the will take best 2 exams scores i.e, if you got 20/30 in first mid , 28/30 in second mid and 26/30 in final mid they will consider the second and final mid mars into consideration. For every mid exam they will convert to 15 marks so they have considered 2 and 3rd mid marks (28 changes to 14 and 26 changes to 13 ) therefore you got (14 + 13) i.e, 27/30 and 10 more marks for assignments if you submit your assignments in right time they will provide you the full marks. so totally you got 37/40 in the internals remaining 60 marks are final semester exams.
Placement Experience :
Our college have seperate Department called Training and placement. which is working regressly for the welfare of the student this department makes the student "INDUSTRY READY " inside the college. this department gives the training about the training on the latest technologies in which industry is required this year (2020 passout )batch has achieved 80%placement record.
College Events :
There are many clubs are ongoing in the campus namely speaking club , G-Elite club and many more these are conducted by the students to enhance the skills. when coming to festes recently we do have a very biggest TechnoCultural fest called PRERANA2020 in march 6 and 7 of 2020 there we do have a vary great fun and knowledge and many more events are conducted technically and culturally. Students have avery good platform to showcase their skills and to win the exiting prizes
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is vey much feasible a normal middle class family can afford the fee for our college and supporting to it the college will provide the scholarships for every semester based on merit.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
well i have already mentioned the banks can provide the study loan and the university can provide the scholarships on the merit based and one can apply NSP(National scholarship portal) for extra scholarship
Campus Life :
The classes mostly end at 3:30 pm so you will have more to explore your ideas to do projects or you can go to ground there is a gym which you can access it other clubs are also going on where you can go and join you can improve the skills or you will have WIFI in the hostel room you can simply signup to a online courses platform to improve your skillset
Alumni/Alumna :
Well the alumni express their great happiness towards GITAM bangalore, many of them are very much satisfied to be a part of GITAM bangalore as of now their response was vey good to hear. when it comes to seniors they are simply amazing they totally respond to your questions like a brothers.
Admission :
when coming to admission procedure, there are mainly 3 types of entrance examinations for engineering stream. 1.GITAM ADMISSION TEST(GAT) 2.COMED-K 3.K-SET(only for karnataka state students) while GAT is conducted by the GITAM management and rest are conducted by other organizations. there will be different fee, like if you come with GAT you will have a diffferent fee structure when compared to other entrance examinations I've entered the campus through COMED-K when I've joined(2017) my fee for academics was 1,51,000 per annum and hostel fee was different.
Faculty :
The faculty are well dignified and having the much practical knowledge. Most of the (90%) faculty are P.hd's so they explain the concepts very clearly and efficiently they often give the work related to their subject which is advanced so that the student enhance their skills. well, when coming to my opinion I would like to rate the faculty as 8.2/10
